Abstract

L'invention porte sur des appareils et des procédés de rétroaction dans un réseau de neurones impulsionnels. Selon une approche, des neurones impulsionnels reçoivent un stimulus sensoriel et un signal de contexte qui correspondent au même contexte. Lorsque le stimulus fournit une excitation suffisante, des neurones génèrent une réponse. Des connexions de contexte sont ajustées selon une plasticité dépendante du positionnement temporel de potentiel d'action (STDP) inverse. Quand le signal de contexte précède le potentiel d'action post-synaptique, des connexions synaptiques de contexte sont dépréciées. Inversement, chaque fois que le signal de contexte suit le potentiel d'action post-synaptique, les connexions sont renforcées. L'ajustement de connexion STDP inverse assure une commande précise de déclenchement induit par rétroaction, élimine un emballement de boucles de rétroaction positive, et permet un fonctionnement de réseau auto-stabilisant. Selon un autre aspect de l'invention, la méthodologie d'ajustement de connexion facilite une commutation de contexte robuste lors d'un traitement d'informations visuelles. Lorsqu'un contexte (tel qu'un objet) devient absent par intermittence, un renforcement de connexion de contexte antérieur permet un déclenchement pendant une certaine période de temps. Si l'objet reste absent, la connexion est dépréciée, ce qui permet de prévenir un déclenchement ultérieur.
