Abstract

A stable polyetherketones thermoplastic polymer comprises: a) a polyetherketone of the formula -Ar-CO-, wherein Ar is a bivalent aromatic radical; and b) aryl phosphonite compound of formula I(The formula I should be inserted here.), wherein X is selected from the group consisting of Cl, Br and F, the amount of said phosphonite compound being in the range of 0.01 to 4% by weight of the total composition.
