Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un procédé de fermentation du glycérol permettant d'obtenir de l'acide D-lactique avec un rendement élevé, une productivité élevée et une pureté élevée en utilisant une bactérie spécifique, et a également trait à la bactérie spécifique. Dans un aspect, l'invention concerne un procédé de production d'acide D-lactique à partir du glycérol au moyen d'une bactérie produisant de l'acide lactique, la bactérie produisant de l'acide lactique possédant un gène de D-lactate déshydrogénase NADH-dépendante (IdhA) conféré ou surexprimé et un gène de dihydroxyacétone kinase ATP-dépendante (dhaK) conféré ou surexprimé. En outre, dans la bactérie produisant de l'acide lactique, l'expression d'un gène endogène de malate déshydrogénase (mdh) est réduite ou inactivée et un gène de glycérol déshydrogénase (dhaD) n'est pas conféré ou surexprimé. L'invention concerne également cette bactérie spécifique produisant de l'acide lactique.
