Abstract
The invention discloses a hydraulic axial piston machine having a plurality of cylinders, in each of which a spherical head is inserted. The longitudinal axis of said machine can be pivoted or rotated by a pivot angle in relation to a cylinder longitudinal axis. Depending on the machine concept, the pivot angle can be adjusted by means of an adjusting device of the machine, or the machine is a constant machine for which the pivot angle is fixed. On the inner casing of the cylinder next to the head is a one-sided casing portion upon which operating pressure of the cylinder can be applied. According to the invention, operating pressure is therefore applied to the inner casing of the cylinder inconsistently around the complete circumference, and not consistently. The introduction of the transverse force by the operating pressure means of the cylinder takes place via the one-sided casing portion instead of via a line-shaped pressing between head and inner casing of the cylinder.
