Abstract

The invention relates to a method for, in particular automatic or alternated, power regulation and/or frequency or primary and/or secondary frequency regulation in a solar thermal steam power plant with a primary heat source that is not freely adjustable and an additional heat source and also a solar thermal steam power plant. According to the invention, on the basis of the method for power regulation and/or frequency or primary and/or secondary frequency regulation in this solar thermal steam power plant (1), provision is made for the additional heat source (20) to be used in a primary circuit (2) of the solar thermal steam power plant (1) in order to fill at least one thermal energy store (63, 47) in a secondary circuit (3) of the solar thermal steam power plant (1).
