Abstract

The present invention specifies a rotor for an electrical machine, which rotor comprises two rotor elements (2, 3) which each comprise at least one flux barrier (4, 5, 4', 5'). The at least one flux barrier (4', 5') of the at least one second rotor element (3) is displaced in the circumferential direction in relation to the at least one flux barrier (4, 5) of the first rotor element (2). The two rotor elements (2, 3) are combined with one another axially and/or in the circumferential direction. The invention also describes an electrical machine having the rotor.
