(1)本発明による機器は、
省電力モードを有する機器であって、
省電力モードからの復帰を検出する省電力モード復帰検出部と、
前記機器の姿勢を検出する姿勢検出部と、
前記省電力モード復帰検出部が省電力モードからの復帰を検出する以降に前記姿勢検出部が検出する姿勢が所定範囲の姿勢である場合、当該所定範囲の姿勢に対応付けられる所定の機能を起動するための起動用ユーザインタフェースを提示するユーザインタフェース提示部と
を備えることを特徴とする。
(2)本発明による起動用UI提示方法は、
省電力モードからの復帰を省電力モード復帰検出部により検出し、
前記省電力モード復帰検出部が前記省電力モードからの復帰を検出する以降における姿勢を姿勢検出部により検出し、
前記姿勢検出部が所定範囲の姿勢を検出すると、当該所定範囲の姿勢に対応付けられる所定の機能を起動するためのユーザインタフェースを、ユーザインタフェース提示部により提示する
ことを特徴とする。
(3)本発明による起動用UI提示プログラムを格納した非一時的なコンピュータ可読媒体は、前記(2)に記載の方法を、コンピュータによって実行させることを特徴とする。
同様に、図3の実施形態において、図2と同じくステップS2及びS3の処理を行い、続いて、所定の機能に対応付けられる姿勢が所定時間継続する(Yes)とステップS4で判断されると、その姿勢に対応付けられる機能のUIをステップS5で提示するが、ステップS4での判断の後に携帯機器の姿勢が変化し、そのUIに対応する姿勢の範囲から外れたときも、そのステップS5で一旦提示したUIは、提示を継続するようにしてもよい。

Claims (9)
- 省電力モードからの復帰を検出する省電力モード復帰検出手段と、
前記機器の姿勢を検出する姿勢検出手段と、
前記省電力モード復帰検出手段が省電力モードからの復帰を検出する以降に前記姿勢検出手段が検出する姿勢が所定範囲の姿勢である場合、当該所定範囲の姿勢に対応付けられる所定の機能を起動するための起動用ユーザインタフェースを提示するユーザインタフェース提示手段と
を備える機器。 - 誤操作防止のためのロック状態、及び、セキュリティ確保のためのセキュリティロック状態の少なくともいずれかを設定するロック設定手段をさらに備え、
前記ユーザインタフェース提示手段は、前記姿勢検出手段が前記所定範囲の姿勢を検出する場合、前記ロック設定手段の設定に関わらず、前記起動用ユーザインタフェースを提示することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の機器。 - 前記ユーザインタフェース提示手段は、前記姿勢検出手段が前記所定範囲の姿勢を所定時間検出する場合、前記起動用ユーザインタフェースを提示することを特徴とする請求項1又は2の何れかに記載の機器。
- 前記ユーザインタフェース提示手段は、ユーザが前記起動用ユーザインタフェースを用いて前記所定の機能を選択することを検出する後に、前記セキュリティロック状態を解除するためのユーザインタフェースを提示することを特徴とする請求項2又は3の何れかに記載の機器。
- 省電力モードからの復帰を省電力モード復帰検出手段により検出し、
前記省電力モード復帰検出手段が前記省電力モードからの復帰を検出する以降における姿勢を姿勢検出手段により検出し、
前記姿勢検出手段が所定範囲の姿勢を検出すると、当該所定範囲の姿勢に対応付けられる所定の機能を起動するためのユーザインタフェースを、ユーザインタフェース提示手段により提示する
ことを特徴とする起動用UI提示方法。 - 誤操作防止のためのロック状態、及び、セキュリティ確保のためのセキュリティロック状態の少なくともいずれかをロック設定手段で設定できる機器に適用され、
前記姿勢検出手段が前記所定範囲の姿勢を検出する場合、前記ロック設定手段の設定に関わらず、前記起動用ユーザインタフェースを前記ユーザインタフェース提示手段により提示することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の起動用UI提示方法。 - 前記姿勢検出手段が前記所定範囲の姿勢を所定時間検出する場合、前記ユーザインタフェース提示手段により前記起動用ユーザインタフェースを提示することを特徴とする請求項5又は6の何れかに記載の起動用UI提示方法。
- ユーザが前記起動用ユーザインタフェースを用いて前記所定の機能を選択することを検出する後に、前記セキュリティロック状態を解除するためのユーザインタフェースを前記ユーザインタフェース提示手段により提示することを特徴とする請求項6又は7の何れかに記載の起動用UI提示方法。
- 請求項5ないし8の何れかに記載の方法を、コンピュータによって実行可能なプログラムとして実施していることを特徴とする起動用UI提示プログラムを格納した非一時的なコンピュータ可読媒体。
