Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Ladungsausgleich von Batterieelementen, ein Batteriesystem und Kraftfahrzeug mit einem solchen Batteriesystem, welche insbesondere einsetzbar sind, um Batteriesysteme zu konfigurieren, bei denen ein vorgegebenes Verhältnis von technischer Performance, die durch einen aktiven Ladungsausgleich zwischen den Zellen des Batteriesystems realisiert wird, und entstehenden Kosten, die durch Einsatz von Verfahren zum passiven Ladungsausgleich reduziert werden, eingehalten wird. Hierfür wird Verfahren zum Ladungsausgleich zwischen mindestens vier in Reihe geschalteten Batterieelementen (Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4) vorgeschlagen. Demgemäß wird zumindest ein Teil der mindestens vier Batterieelemente (Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4) in mindestens zwei Gruppen (M1, M2) von jeweils mindestens zwei Batterieelementen (Z1, Z2), (Z3, Z4) gruppiert. Zwischen den Batterieelementen innerhalb einer Gruppe wird ein passiver Ladungsausgleich und zwischen zumindest einem Teil der Gruppen (M1, M2) wird ein aktiver Ladungsausgleich durchgeführt.
