Abstract

The invention relates to telecommunication and electronic engineering, more specifically to wires and cable connections, and can be used in the production of cables for broadband subscriber access networks, Internet telephony, and in the use of cables for municipal, corporate, rural and other communications networks. The invention addresses the problem of increasing the ease of use of a cable by creating a design that allows for easy installation of the cable on any suitable surface. Furthermore, the invention addresses the problem of increasing the operational universality of the cable by rendering the cable more resistant to crosstalk and reducing the bend radius. The technical result achieved by the solution to the problem of interest is the easy installation of the cable as a result of the added design feature of a dividing bridge and/or a tab, serving as a fastening element. This, in particular, obviates the need for additional installation materials, for example installation clips, ties or cable ducts. A further technical result is a reduction in the bend radius of the cable because one rather than two pairs of wires is bent. In the event of a four-pair structure, two pairs are bent pairwise, rather than four pairs being bent. This also increases the universality of the invention. A further technical result of the invention is the increased reliability of the cable as a result of the improved resistance of the cable to crosstalk since the significantly greater distance between the electrical conductors together with the pair twisting of the conductors (optimum twist rates are selected) makes it possible to best protect digital subscriber lines (DSL) from external noise. This has been established empirically. The essence of the invention is that in the telecommunication cable comprising at least two pairs of helically twisted insulated electrical conductors, covered with an external insulator with an air space thereinside, the external insulator is provided with a fastener in the form of a dividing bridge and/or a tab, which makes it possible to install the cable directly on a supporting structure.
