Abstract

본 발명은 이차전지를 2개 이상 구비하여 하나의 이차전지를 이용해 대부분의 출력은 부하에 전원을 공급하면서 나머지 출력은 다른 하나의 이차전지 충전에 이용함으로써 축전지의 에너지 효율을 향상시키고 이를 통해 한 번의 만충전으로 이차전지를 사용할 수 있는 시간(방전시간)을 늘릴 수 있는 안전한 이차전지를 이용한 전원장치를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 발명에 따른 이차전지를 이용한 전원장치는, 충방전이 가능한 2 이상의 이차전지; 상기 2 이상의 이차전지의 어느 하나의 이차전지가 방전되도록 할 경우에 상기 방전모드의 이차전지의 DC 출력전압을 부하에 전달하는 인버터; 상기 2 이상의 이차전지의 상기 방전모드의 이차전지를 상기 인버터에 연결하여 주며, 다른 시점에서는 상기 2 이상의 이차전지의 상기 방전모드와 상이한 다른 이차전지를 상기 인버터에 연결하여 주도록 절환을 행하는 릴레이; 및 상기 릴레이의 절환 동작을 제어하여 상기 인버터를 통한 상기 부하에 상기 2 이상의 이차전지의 전력을 교대로 공급하도록 하는 제어부; 를 포함하며, 각 DC 단자의 (+) 및 (-) 단자 중에서 동일한 일측 극성의 단자들이 상호 고정 연결되어 있으며, 고정연결되지 않은 타측 극성의 단자를 각각 스위칭하여 제어가 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
