Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de télécommunication et un procédé permettant de fournir un service de distribution sélective dans ledit système de télécommunication. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : un terminal fait une demande d'enregistrement auprès d'un serveur de distribution sélective lors de l'installation d'une application ; le terminal transmet une confirmation d'enregistrement à un serveur d'application lors de la réception d'une réponse d'enregistrement provenant du serveur de distribution sélective ; le serveur d'application fait une demande d'enregistrement de serveur auprès d'un serveur de distribution sélective ; le serveur de distribution sélective fait une demande d'enregistrement de serveur auprès d'un serveur d'authentification publique, et reçoit une réponse d'enregistrement de serveur provenant du serveur d'authentification publique ; le serveur d'application fait une demande de distribution sélective au serveur de distribution sélective, lors du déclenchement d'un message destiné à un serveur de distribution sélective ; et le serveur de distribution sélective transmet au terminal une notification de distribution sélective sur la base de la demande de distribution sélective. L'invention permet ainsi de prévenir une surcharge de trafic et d'optimiser l'environnement de transmission de données par l'intermédiaire d'une connexion de réseau avec un serveur de fournisseur.
