Description

A COOKING DEVICE HAVING BREAD BAKING FUNCTION
The present invention relates to a cooking device having bread baking function.
In cooking devices having bread baking function, bread and similar foodstuffs are easily prepared by placing the ingredients into a receptacle that can be placed into the oven cavity if desired and by mixing, leavening and baking the said ingredients placed into the receptacle by means of a kneading means situated in the said recipient. The dough formed by mixing the ingredients to be baked impacts the periphery of the recipient. A pressure occurs in the direction of the base of the casing due to the weight and consistency of the dough. The said pressure forming on the surface of the receptacle is transmitted to the base by means of the carrier whereon the receptacle is placed. The said force generates of vibrations, undulations and noise on the base and causes the coating on the base to crack from time to time.
In the state of the art European Patent Document No. EP0302247, a bread baking machine is described which has a shaft extending from the side wall into the container and a rotary vane disposed at the end of the shaft.
In the state of the art Japanese Patent Document No. JP54092677, a bread making machine is described that has a supporting plate disposed on the base supporting the container during mixing of the ingredients to be baked and which goes upward while the ingredients are mixed.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of a cooking device which has the function of bread baking and which is provided to operate in a safe manner.
In the cooking device realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, there is a damping member placed to the opening arranged on the base of the casing, between the carrier supporting the bread baking receptacle and the base. Thus, forces and vibrations transmitted to the carrier while kneading/mixing the dough in the receptacle are prevented from being transmitted to the base.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the inner surfaces, particulary the base of the casing are coated with a corrosion-resistant, fireproof, nonstick coating. Thus, on one hand problems such as sticking of foodstuffs falling on the base and corrosion of the base are prevented, on the other hand the coating is prevented from cracking since no force is transmitted to the base through the carrier while mixing in the recipient. In a derivative of this embodiment, the said coating material is enamel.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the carrier placed into the opening is cylindrical. At the center of the carrier, a hole is arranged, enabling the receptacle to be placed therein. On the face of the carrier facing the base, there is a skirt seated onto the base. In this embodiment, the damping member is placed between the skirt and the base. Thus, the contact between the carrier and the base is completely cut off, thus minimizing the amount of force transmitted.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the damping member is of circular form so as to surround the opening and at the center thereof has a hole that is aligned with the opening and that has the same dimensions as the opening.
During the use of the cooking device of the present invention for baking bread, occurrence of damage on the base is prevented, thus providing safe operation conditions.
The cooking device realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:
Figure 1 – is the perspective view of a cooking device.
Figure 2– is the perspective view of the casing and the recipient.
Figure 3 – is the sideways schematic view of the casing, the recipient, the kneading means and the motor.
Figure 4 – is the partial perspective view of the casing and the carrier.
Figure 5 – is the partial front view of the casing and the carrier.
Figure 6 – is the view of cross-section A-A in Figure 5.
Figure 7 – is the view of detail B in Figure 6.
The elements illustrated in the figures are numbered as follows:
  1. Cooking device
  2. Oven cavity
  3. Base
  4. Casing
  5. Opening
  6. Carrier
  7. Receptacle
  8. Kneading means
  9. Motor
  10. Damping member
  11. Skirt
The cooking device (1) comprises
  • an oven cavity (2) wherein the cooking process is performed,
  • a casing (4) surrounding the oven cavity (2), having a base (3),
  • an opening (5) arranged on the base (3),
  • at least one carrier (6) disposed to the opening (5),
  • a receptacle(7) placed onto the carrier (6), wherein ingredients to be baked are placed,
  • a kneading means (8) disposed in the receptacle (7), providing the ingredients in the receptacle (7) to be mixed by being moved and
  • at least one motor (9) providing the kneading means (8) to be driven.
The cooking device (1) of the present invention furthermore comprises a damping member (10) placed between the carrier (6) and the base (3). Thus, the force transmitted to the carrier (6) during the movement of the kneading means (8) is transmitted to the base (3) in a minimum amount, thereby preventing damages that may occur on the base (3).
In an embodiment of the present invention, the surface of the base (3) facing the oven cavity (2) is coated with a corrosion-resistant and/or nonstick coating. In this embodiment, the damping member (10) prevents the cracks that may occur on the coating as a result of force transmission.
In a derivative of this embodiment, the surface of the base (3) facing the oven cavity (2) is coated with enamel.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the carrier (6) is of a hollow, cylindrical form and comprises a skirt (11) on its lower end, that bears against the base (3). In this embodiment, the damping member (10) is squeezed between the skirt (11) and the base (3). Thus, the carrier (6) is provided to be seated onto the base (3) and the amount of force transmitted from the carrier (6) to the base (3) is minimized.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the damping member (10) is circular and surrounds the opening (5). Thus, the amount of vibrations transmitted from the area of the opening (5) to the base (3) is minimized.
By means of the present invention, the amount of forces transmitted to the base (3) as a result of the vibrations and movement occurring during the mixing of the ingredients to be baked is minimized, thus cracks are prevented from occurring on the base (3) and the lifespan of the base (3) is prolonged.
It is to be understood that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments disclosed above and a person skilled in the art can easily introduce different embodiments. These should be considered within the scope of the protection postulated by the claims of the present invention.
