Abstract

La présente invention est appropriée pour une application dans le domaine technique de la communication et concerne un procédé de recherche de contacts et un terminal de communication. Selon la présente invention, la recherche comprend les étapes consistant : après la réception d'une instruction de recherche d'un contact, à afficher plusieurs caractères; et à afficher des informations concernant des contacts au niveau des caractères où un contact existe. On préfère davantage, lors de la réception des caractères choisis sélectionnés par l'utilisateur, que les caractères choisis soient agencés selon un ordre dans une séquence de caractères; si une analyse détermine que les caractères à choisir pour des contacts existent après la combinaison avec la séquence de caractères, que les caractères à choisir soient alors répartis autour de la séquence de caractères et que les informations concernant les contacts soient affichées au niveau des caractères à choisir; et/ou, si l'analyse détermine que des contacts existent pour les caractères choisis dans la séquence de caractères, que les informations concernant les contacts soient alors affichées au niveau du caractère choisi. La présente invention combine l'affichage de criblage de caractères et de criblage de contacts lors de la recherche d'un contact, ce qui correspond mieux aux habitudes d'utilisation de l'utilisateur et lui permet de rechercher et localiser le contact recherché de manière plus commode, rapide et précise.
