Abstract
The present invention relates to a device to recharge the propulsion batteries (6) of an electric car comprising a tank (1) adapted to receive and contain compressed air, a turbine (3) connected to the tank (1) and fed with compressed air from said tank (1) to transform the pressure energy of the compressed air into kinetic energy in the turbine shaft, and an electrical generator (5) connected to the turbine shaft to transform the kinetic energy of said shaft into electrical energy, wherein the generator (5) is electrically attachable to the propulsion batteries (6) to recharge said propulsion batteries (6).
