Abstract

The invention relates to a pump having at least one pump element (10), which comprises a pump piston (12) that is driven in a stroke movement, is movably guided in a cylinder bore (20) of a housing part (22) of the pump and delimits a pump operating chamber (24) in the cylinder bore (20), wherein the pump operating chamber (24) can be connected to an inlet (28) via an inlet valve (26) and to an outlet (32) via an outlet valve (30). The inlet valve (26) and the outlet valve (30) each have a valve housing (56, 78) that is arranged in a receptacle (54) of a pump housing part (22). The receptacle (54) is arranged at least approximately coaxially to the cylinder bore (20) in an end region (52) of the pump housing part (22) connecting thereto, in which the cylinder bore (20) is designed, and the valve housings (56, 78) of the inlet valve (26) and of the outlet valve (30) are held in the pump housing part (22) by means of a fastening element (86) reaching over the pump housing part (22) on the outer face thereof that encloses the receptacle (54).
