Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung offenbart ein Batteriesystem, insbesondere für ein Kraftfahrzeug, mit zwei spannungsführenden Leitungen, wobei die erste Leitung ein positives Potential aufweist und die zweite Leitung ein dazu negatives Potential aufweist, mit mindestens zwei Batteriemodulen, welche jeweils eine Batterie mit einem positiven Anschluss und einem negativen Anschluss aufweisen, wobei jedes Batteriemodul eine steuerbare erste Schalteinrichtung aufweist, welche dazu ausgebildet ist, den positiven Anschluss der Batterie des jeweiligen Batteriemoduls in einem geschlossenen Zustand mit der ersten Leitung zu koppeln und/oder in einem geöffneten Zustand von dieser zu trennen und den negativen Anschluss der Batterie des jeweiligen Batteriemoduls mit der zweiten Leitung in einem geöffneten Zustand zu koppeln und/oder in einem geschlossenen Zustand von dieser zu trennen, und mit einer Steuereinrichtung, welche dazu ausgebildet ist, die erste Schalteinrichtungen der Batteriemodule derart zu steuern, dass lediglich die Batterie genau eines Batteriemoduls mit den spannungsführenden Leitungen gekoppelt ist. Ferner offenbart die vorliegende Erfindung ein Verfahren.
