Abstract

Sattel für Pferde, bestehend aus einem ein Kopfeisen (1) sowie eine Sitzfläche (2) aufweisenden Sattelbaum sowie daran beidseitig vorgesehenen Sattelblättern (3) sowie darunter liegenden Schweißblättern (4) und einem Sattelkissen (5), welches bei Benutzung des Sattels hinter der Schulter auf dem Rücken des Reittiers aufliegt, sowie auf oder unter den Sattelblättern (3) liegenden Steigbügelriemen (6), die an Steigbügelhaltern befestigt sind. Der Sattel ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schweißblätter (4) unterhalb der Ortspitze des Kopfeisens (1) eine nach hinten weisende kurvenförmige Ausnehmung / Rückstellung (40) aufweisen und über ihre gesamte Fläche gepolstert sind. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Rückstellung der Schweißblätter gewährleistet der Sattel eine absolute Schulter- und Muskelfreiheit, seitlich die ungehinderte Beweglichkeit bei der Streckdehnung und hinten durch eine nachstehend näher beschriebene spezielle Kissenstellung bis maximal zum 18. Brustwirbel eine optimale Biegefähigkeit.
