Abstract

The invention relates to a parasol of the type comprising a plurality of telescopically extendable cylindrical bodies and a canopy that can be extended using a plurality of rods. The parasol is characterised in that a first securing part is inserted into the first body using a torque rod and said securing part comprises a handle for controlling the unfolding in a second body on which is mounted a third cylindrical body of smaller diameter, said third body including a projection that is inserted into a hole that secures the assembly. The invention also includes a stationary element that is secured to the canopy and to the hinged reinforcing rods which are, in turn, joined to a moving element that moves freely along the third body as far as a stop element that serves as a limit stop on the path of a third part.

MODIFIED CLAIMS received by the International Office on July 10, 2013 (10.07.2013).

1. Lens hood of the type comprising a plurality of cylindrical bodies (1, 3, 4) extensible telescopically and an awning (6) also extensible by the competition of a plurality of rods (7) and characterized by the first hollow cylindrical body (1) presents in its upper part a plurality of holes (Ib) coincident with holes (2a) of a first fixing piece (2) inserted on said upper part of said hollow cylindrical body (1); and wherein the fixing between said first body (1) and said fixing piece (2) is carried out by means of a torsion rod (12) that passes through said holes (Ib, 2a) in the deployment position of the sun visor; and wherein said fixing piece (2) is joined together to the first body (1), thanks to an existing perimeter recess (14); and wherein, said piece (2) comprises a handle (2c) configured to regulate the deployment of a second hollow cylindrical body (3) of smaller diameter than the first body (1) and which in turn has been introduced into said first body (1) being telescopically deployable with respect to it; and wherein said second hollow cylindrical body (3) has a hole (3a) and a small deformity at its upper end, such that a third cylindrical body (4) of smaller diameter than said second body (3) can be inserted over it; and wherein said third body (4) incorporates a protrusion (4a) that is inserted integrally in the hole (3a) of the second body (3), fixing the assembly; and wherein, further said third body (4) has at its upper end a fixed element (5) configured so that on one side the awning (6) is fixed, and on the other a plurality of articulated rods (7) are fixed and reinforcement (13), which provide the necessary characteristics to extend and collect the said awning (6); wherein joined to the first body (1) is a mobile element (8), which are joined together a plurality of articulated rods (7) and reinforcement (13), and which moves freely through the third body (4), in the space existing between the fixed element (5) and a first stop (9); wherein this first stop (9) in turn serves as a maximum stop for the travel of a third piece (10) that incorporates a plurality of rods (7), and has a built-in push button (10a), responsible for releasing said part of the anchor made by a second stop (11), also arranged along said third body.

2, - Parasol according to claim 1 wherein the rods (7), articulated, are composed of four linked sections forming a pantographic design; in each set of the tension linkage, the upper free end engages with the fixed element (5), the lower end connects with the moving part (10) and the external end, which corresponds to the perimeter edge of the awning (6), engages with the external end of the reinforcing rod (13) whose internal end in turn engages with the mobile element (8), all the linkers being of the articulated type.

 3. - Parasol according to claim 1 wherein the first hollow cylindrical body (1) has its lower end in helical form (la).

 4. - Parasol according to claim 1 wherein in the fold position of the sun visor, the torsion rod (12) is solidly attached to the part (2) and fixed by means of a "U" shaped seat (2b).

 5, - Parasol according to claim 1 wherein the piece (10) will incorporate a handle (15) at its rear end that will function as a support element for various tools.

DECLARATION ACCORDING TO ARTICLE 19 (1)

1. - The second claim is added to highlight the special pantographic structure of the main linkage (7) and reinforcement (13), specifying the location of the ends of the rods and their articulated crimp points.
