Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle comprising a motor vehicle body, an electric energy accumulator, and an electric motor that is connected by means of an electric cable and is used for driving the vehicle or for assisting with driving the vehicle. Furthermore, a switching means can be activated by an emergency signal in order to interrupt the electric cable. The motor vehicle is characterized in that at least one signal line (30) is integrated into the vehicle body. When said signal line gets cut, the emergency signal is generated so as to activate the switching means.
