Abstract

The invention relates to a device for controlling a gearbox having a barrel, comprising a rotatable drum, which has, on the cylindrical wall thereof, circular grooves (6a, 6b, 6c) with sectors for diverting elements (7a, 7b, 7c) for controlling inner forks of the gearbox in order to select gear ratios, characterized in that the angle of rotation of the drum for shifting gears is differentiated according to the ratios in question.
