Description

Dust collector
The present invention relates to a dust collector that separates and collects dust using a so-called cyclone system.
A dust collector using a cyclone system that separates and collects dust contained in air by swirling the sucked air in a dust collection chamber is well known. For example, in Patent Document 1, a dust collection case has a double cylinder structure of an inner dust collection chamber and an outer dust collection chamber, and an intake pipe having an outlet in a tangential direction of the inner dust collection chamber is swung to the inner dust collection chamber. A structure is disclosed in which a guide cylinder is provided to form a main cyclone, while a plurality of small cyclones are provided in an outer dust collection chamber on the downstream side of the turning guide cylinder. Thereby, large dust can be separated and collected by the main cyclone, and fine dust can be separated and collected by the small cyclone, and dust collection efficiency can be increased.

However, in the conventional dust collector, since the main body having the motor is arranged above the dust collecting case in which the small cyclone is arranged on the outer periphery of the main cyclone, the vertical dimension becomes large and the compactness is hindered. . As a result, the transportability and stowability are reduced. Moreover, there is a risk of falling because the center of gravity becomes high.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a dust collector that can achieve downsizing by reducing the size in the vertical direction, can maintain suitable transportability and storage property, and is excellent in usability.

First, the partition board 21 has a deep bottom portion 26 having a diameter larger than that of the projecting portion 15 of the main body 6 at the center, and the projecting portion 15 projects into the deep bottom portion 26 in a non-contact state in the assembled state. The projecting portion 15 is screwed to a plurality of upper bosses 27, 27... Projecting from the bottom surface of the deep bottom portion 26. A shallow bottom portion 28 that is shallower than the deep bottom portion 26 and deeper than the flange portion 22 is provided around the outer periphery of the deep bottom portion 26.
The small cyclones 23, 23... Are arranged along the shallow bottom portion 28 at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction. Each small cyclone 23 is provided coaxially in the upper cylinder part 30 and the revolving cylinder 29 which consists of the upper cylinder part 30 and the lower cylinder part 31 which are divided | segmented up and down, and it opens to the main body 6 side above the shallow bottom part 28. The small-diameter discharge pipe 32 is formed. The upper cylindrical portion 30 is a cylindrical body having an equal diameter in the vertical direction that is connected to the lower surface of the shallow bottom portion 28, and a vertically long rectangular suction port 33 that communicates with the inside in the tangential direction is a tank in the radial direction of the shallow bottom portion 28. 5 is formed so as to open in 5. The lower cylinder part 31 is a taper-like cylinder body that is coaxially screwed to the upper cylinder part 30 and gradually decreases in diameter as it goes downward.
Next, the cover body 25 has a circular shape in plan view having a diameter covering the deep bottom portion 26 and the surrounding small cyclones 23, 23,..., And the peripheral surface has rectangular through holes 34, 34,. It has a lattice shape formed in the direction. A plurality of mounting bosses 35, 35.. Are projected on the inner peripheral surface of the cover body 25 at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction, and each mounting boss 35 is connected to the lower surface of the shallow bottom portion 28 of the partition board 21. .. Are assembled in a state where the bottom surface is in contact with the lower surface of the deep bottom portion 26 by screw coupling to the small bosses 36, 36. A large-diameter circular hole 37 is formed at the center of the bottom surface of the cover body 25, and a plurality of small bosses 38, 38,. Around the circular hole 37, small-diameter circular holes 39, 39,... Through which the lower cylinder portion 31 of the small cyclone 23 passes are formed. Reference numeral 40 denotes an upper escape portion formed in a notch to prevent interference with the suction port 9 and the guide plate 11.
The inner tank 24 includes a lower tank body 41 that is a mortar-shaped disk body that gradually decreases in diameter as it goes downward, and a lid body 42 that closes the upper opening of the tank body 41. At the center of the upper surface of the lid body 42, a plurality of middle bosses 43, 43,... Screwed to the small bosses 38, 38,. Receiving holes 44, 44... Are formed so that the lower end of the lower cylindrical portion 31 of the small cyclone 23 is fitted and communicated with the inside of the inner tank 24. The inner tank 24 is also formed with a notch in a lower relief portion 45 communicating with the upper relief portion 40 of the cover body 25 in the vertical direction.
In addition, a discharge port 46 is formed in the center of the tank body 41 serving as a mortar-shaped bottom and can be opened and closed by a cap 47. On the inner surface of the tank body 41, a plurality of lower bosses 48 are protruded upward in the circumferential direction, and the lid 42 is screwed.
Further, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, fins 49, 49... Extending in the radial direction around the cap 47 are formed on the lower surface of the tank body 41. The fins 49 are formed so that the outer edge protrudes outward from the upper opening of the tank body 41 and connects the outer edges of the fins 49, and the tank body 41 has a radius around the tank body 41. A ring-shaped guard plate 50 that circulates at a predetermined interval in the direction is formed over substantially the entire circumference excluding the lower escape portion 45.
The filter 8 is a cloth bag body whose upper end opening is locked to the opening of the tank 5 below the flange portion 22 of the partition board 21, and covers the entire cyclone unit 7 from below in an attached state. Become. In this state, the shape of the filter 8 is held by the cover body 25 and the fins 49 of the inner tank 24.
In the dust collector 1 configured as described above, in a state where the filter 6 and the cyclone unit 7 are suspended and locked in the opening of the tank 5 and the main body 6 is placed, the protruding portion that accommodates the suction fan 14 of the motor 12. 15 protrudes into the deep bottom portion 26 of the divider 21 in the tank 5. In this state, the suction fan 14 overlaps the small cyclone 23 in the radial direction of the tank 5.
When the operation switch 19 is turned ON to drive the motor 12, air is sucked into the tank 5 from the suction port 9 via the dust collecting hose. Since this air swirls along the inner peripheral surface of the tank 5 by the guide plate 11, large dust falls here and is stored in the tank 5. Thereafter, air flows through the filter 8 toward the cyclone unit 7, so that dust larger than the eyes of the filter 8 is captured by the filter 8 and stored in the tank 5.
The air that has passed through the filter 8 is sucked from the suction port 33 of each small cyclone 23 of the cyclone unit 7. At this time, since the cover body 25 is interposed between the filter 8 and the suction port 33, the suction port 33 is not blocked even if the filter 8 sticks to the cover body 25. Similarly, in the lower part of the cyclone unit 7, a space is secured between the filter 8 and the inner tank 24 by the fins 49 and the guard plate 50 provided on the outer periphery of the inner tank 24. Then, the air that has entered the filter 8 passes between the fins 49 and 49 and between the guard plate 50 and the inner tank 24 and is sucked into the suction port 33.
In each small cyclone 23, the air that has entered the swivel cylinder 29 from the suction port 33 swirls in the swirl cylinder 29, and then moves above the shallow bottom portion 28 of the partition board 21 through the discharge pipe 32. From the intake port 16 to the main body 6 and exhausted from the exhaust passage 17. Therefore, in each small cyclone 23, fine dust that has passed through the filter 8 is separated and dropped when the air swirls the swivel cylinder 29, and falls into the inner tank 24 below and is stored. Since the dust accumulated in the inner tank 24 is collected in the lower center by the mortar-shaped tank body 41, it can be easily discarded from the discharge port 46 by removing the cap 47.
Thus, according to the dust collector 1 of the said form, the motor 12 is arrange | positioned in the position where the suction fan 14 protrudes in the tank 5 inside the arrangement | sequence of the small cyclone 23, and the suction fan 14 is made into the radius of the tank 5. By overlapping with the small cyclone 23 in the direction, the height of the main body 6 can be kept low. Therefore, even in the structure in which the main cyclone and the small cyclone 23 are provided side by side, the size in the vertical direction is reduced, and compactness can be achieved. In addition, it can be transported easily, storage space is reduced, and the center of gravity is lowered, so that the possibility of falling is reduced, which makes it easy to use.
Further, the air sucked from the suction port 9 is swung along the inner peripheral surface of the tank 5, and the main cyclone for storing the dust separated in the tank 5 in the tank 5 is formed. Separation and recovery are possible.
Here, in particular, the frame-like cover body 25 that partitions the suction port 33 and the filter 8 is provided outside the small cyclone 23, so that the filter 8 contracts more than necessary during operation, or the small cyclone 23 It does not stick to block the suction port 33. Therefore, the effective area of the filter 8 can be maintained, air can be reliably sucked by the small cyclone 23, and a reduction in suction force can be prevented.
In addition, since a plurality of fins 49 extending radially from the center of the tank 5 are provided on the lower surface of the inner tank 24, the air that has swung through the tank 5 and passed through the filter 8 passes along the fins 49. Guided smoothly to the side.
Further, since the ring-shaped guard plate 50 is arranged on the outer periphery of the inner tank 24 at a predetermined interval from the inner tank 24, even if the filter 8 sticks to the inner tank 24 during operation, A space is secured between the filter 8 and the small cyclone 23 can be reliably ventilated in the filter 8.
Since the bottom surface of the inner tank 24 has a mortar shape, dust stored in the inner tank 24 can be quickly discarded from the discharge port 46.
In the above embodiment, only the motor suction fan overlaps with the small cyclone. However, the amount of protrusion of the motor is increased so that the stator side of the motor and the entire motor overlap with the small cyclone. Good.
Moreover, although the small cyclone is made into the upper cylinder part and the lower cylinder part which divided the turning cylinder into two in the said form, it does not interfere even if both cylinder parts are united and a turning cylinder is formed.
In addition, the cover body is not limited to the lattice shape, but is a mesh, or a plurality of circular holes are formed in the peripheral surface, etc., and the filter is interposed between the small cyclone and the filter to prevent the filter from sticking to the suction port. If possible, the shape can be changed as appropriate. The cover body may be omitted depending on the position and shape of the suction port.
On the other hand, the number and form of the fins, the form of the guard plate, and the like can be appropriately changed. For example, the guard plate can be provided intermittently in the circumferential direction without being provided over the entire circumference. Of course, it is possible to omit fins and guard plates. In addition, the inner tank can be changed as appropriate, such as a flat surface by eliminating the mortar shape on the bottom, and the filter can be made of paper.
In the above embodiment, the main cyclone for turning dust in the tank to separate dust is formed. However, the guide plate is eliminated and the air is turned directly to the small cyclone without turning in the tank. Is also possible.
