Definitions
- An interrelated group of inventions relates to technique of separation of gas mixtures into components and can be used in coal industry in the preparation of captive mine methane-air mixtures for its disposal in cogeneration plants.
- the disadvantage of this method is its low productivity and economic inexpediency: to obtain recovered energy is needed, along with the extracted small amount light components of the gas mixture - methane, burn expensive aviation fuel, as the main fuel of the turbine.
- the disadvantage of this method is the low efficiency separation of components due to the presence in the proposed straight-through vortex tube unsteady axial vortex cord that turbulents the flow and reduces the effect of separation of components.
- the specified method provides for an unstable mode of operation with a tangential value component of the spin speed close to some critical value, when the separation of the flow is practically absent.
- Under the critical speed in the description of this method refers to the minimum peripheral speed of the full twisting the gas mixture, which ensures rotation in the peripheral the zone of the flow of the heaviest molecular weight components of the gas mixtures.
- the light components which consist mainly of methane
- the turbines are fed for disposal, and the peripheral flow, with heavy fractions are additionally separated at the narrow end of the vortex tube.
- the narrow end of the vortex tube is equipped with an annular collector chamber, which connected through longitudinal slots in the vortex tube body to the internal cavity pipes, due to which part of the heavy components gets into the collector chamber, including suspended dust.
- Lighter components consisting of refined air and nitrogen together with water vapor are released into the atmosphere.
- a disadvantage of the known device is low energy efficiency due to significant compression energy consumption mixtures for the operation of the turbine, the predominant part of which, after expansion in the pipe emitted into the atmosphere, as well as its low productivity, which determined by the technical capabilities of the counterflow vortex tube.
- the central flow component selector consists of two coaxial parts with the formation of an adjustable annular gap between them, through which selection is carried out [4];
- the vortex tube body consists of two coaxial parts with the formation of an adjustable annular gap between them, which surrounded by an annular collector chamber with a component selection pipe peripheral flow [5].
- the first of the group of inventions is based on the task of improving the method of extracting individual components from gas mixtures, which provides increased separation efficiency of components in once-through vortex tubes while maintaining their high productivity and economic feasibility of use by eliminating the possible the emergence of common and local sources of turbulent gas mixture flow in the pipe.
- the second of the group of inventions is based on the task of improving the device for extracting individual components from gas mixture by replacing the design of a straight-through vortex tube and samplers mixture components in swirling central and peripheral flows, which will eliminate the general turbulence of the swirling flow and local turbulence in the selection zones, and thereby increase extraction efficiency individual components from the gas mixture in a straight-through vortex tube at maintaining its structural simplicity and high productivity.
- the first task is solved in such a way that in the method of extracting individual components from a gas mixture, which includes swirling the flow in the swirl, separation of the swirling flow in direct-flow vortex tube into two flows: peripheral, with a predominance in it heavy components and central, with a predominance of light components and extraction of components through adjustable taps of divided flows in accordance with the invention swirling the flow is carried out with the acceleration of the flow to velocity, the tangential component of which exceeds the minimum circumferential the speed of full swirling of a gas mixture of a given composition and physical the parameters of its state by an amount sufficient to separate the mixture into peripheral and central flows, and the very separation of the swirling flow into peripheral and central flows occur in an annular channel in which the axial zone is freed from the flow and at the outlet of which the components of one of streams are partially extracted during partial braking of the rotation of this stream and separating the component selection zone from the swirling flow.
- the second task is solved in such a way what's in the device for extracting heavy components from the gas mixture, which includes a swirl flow of the gas mixture, a straight-through vortex tube, where there is a separation of the swirling flow of the gas mixture into two streams: peripheral, with the predominance of heavy components in it and central, with the predominance of light components in it and a sampler of heavy gas components mixtures from the peripheral flow in the form of an annular collector chamber connected through the longitudinal slots in the body of the vortex tube with an internal cavity of the pipe, according to the invention, the swirl consists of a multi-auger screw with a central body, which when twisting compresses and accelerates the movement of the gas stream mixture, and behind the central body for the flow of a swirling flow formed the annular channel with the help of a cylindrical coaxial with it rods, while at the exit from the annular channel a sampler of heavy the components of the mixture from the peripheral flow, before which for braking peripheral flow rotation, longitudinal ribs are installed with a
- Comparative analysis of the claimed design with the closest prototypes shows that it provides aerodynamic the flow conditions of the gas mixture in the once-through vortex tube, which reduce the turbulence of its flow along the entire pipe (elimination of region of flow of the zone of occurrence of an unsteady axial vortex cord), and in the zone of selection of the components of the gas mixture by separating this zone from swirling flow.
