Abstract

The invention relates to a levitation device (100), which includes a tray (1), at least one superconducting element (2) arranged in the tray, and a supporting block (3) which is positioned in the tray and which holds the superconducting element(s) at the bottom of the tray by pressing on the tray cover. The device can include a coolant tank consisting of a plurality of cells (32, 33, 34, 37) arranged in the supporting block. The arrangement of the cells ensures that the coolant flows towards the superconducting element(s). The device according to the invention is compact, light, and modular.
