Abstract

Provided is a technique for increasing interest in a baseball game by providing to a user a convenient and thrilling pitching method. The method for pitching in a baseball game, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: deciding, as a pitching position, a first position from which a touch input from a user is detected, when the touch input on a portion of a pitching area provided on a touch screen of a mobile terminal is received; outputting, on the touch screen, patterns that are set differently to each of one or more pitch types, which are set to respective pitcher characters, when the touch input is detected; setting, as a pitch type of the current pitch, the pitch type which matches a pattern input formed by moving from the first position to a second position from which the touch input is released, and which matches one pattern from the patterns that have been set; and inputting, to a module for managing the execution of game content, a pitch command for executing a pitch of the pitch type that has been set to the decided pitching position, after the step of setting.
