Abstract

Chairs with specific accessories are claimed, including a pencil holder (1) for student chairs, which is firmly attached to the writing tablet, in a transverse position suitable for keeping pencils and pens placed therein in a stable position. The chair also comprises a specific tablet allowing the use of portable computers (3) and an additional flat tablet (4), both for student chairs. Descriptive report of Utility Model: "MULTIUSO CHAIRS".

This model refers to a set of multipurpose chairs; more specifically, chairs added with specific accessories to increase their functionality compared to those on the market.

Many chair models are now known, some quite simple, some sophisticated, but the common thread is the predominant change in aesthetics rather than function, regardless of their degree of sophistication and comfort all are restricted to offering support. for the user to sit down.

Nevertheless, to this day the chairs have met our needs. In spite of previous observations, as science evolves creating articles and devices for daily use, it allows the adaptation of our current objects of use to these articles.

It can be observed that the use of portable computers (notebooks, tablets) has increased as their price has dropped, but there are no university-type chairs yet adapted to their use, the platforms of these chairs are not adapted to support these devices, making its unstable operation and subject to falls.

Another recurring problem in university chairs is the lack of adequate protection for the pencil or pen, when in use, some chairs still have on their platforms a small horizontal frieze that supports only a pencil that sometimes unbalances and falls breaking the concentration. Student's

Another observation can be made in relation to current chairs: it is now known that the absence of space has become common in any area of home or work use. Truly, companies have been mobilizing efforts to increase the functionality of furniture and equipment that needs to be kept in small spaces.

The computer, an instrument common to any work area, has taken up a lot of space, previously intended for storing other materials. A work desk, once for writing only, now has to hold a monitor, keyboard and mouse on top of it, as well as a cabinet, power supply, and sometimes a printer. So that all this material fits over and under it some drawers have been eliminated.

In the daily life of an office there is a need to organize spaces, removing the drawers from the tables also excluded storage spaces, and nowadays when we open a drawer in an office table we see that it stores papers, books, electronic gadgets, extensions, paperclips, pencils, pens, staplers and personal use materials such as: oral hygiene supplies, cups, tissues, medicine, earphone radios, etc ...

In view of the problems presented and in order to overcome them, chair models have been developed that, without changing their primary purpose, which is to sit comfortably, try to minimize these problems.

The first modification concerns the initial problem addressed, namely the use of laptops on university chair platforms. The platforms were modified with the insertion of a small pair of rails through which clamps adjustable to the size of the devices, which allow them to be fixed to the chairs.

Another modification, as a consequence of the above, is to laterally add a trackless drawing board to the front platform for use in the case of proofing so that the tracks do not disturb the writing.

The third, simpler modification is to provide the rails, whether railed or not, with a pencil holder attached to it in or near the upright position, allowing the pencils or pens to rest stably, preventing falls.

Finally, one last modification to the current design of chairs and armchairs is to add drawers positioned under the seat, increasing their functional utility and allowing objects to be stored separately.

As shown in the figures above, the "MULTI-CHAIR CHAIRS", object of the present patent, present modifications to make the use of chairs of various types more functional, Figures 1 and 2 present a common university chair, frontally and laterally, plus a pencil holder (1) positioned on the notebook platform so that it does not impair writing and so that the pencils and pens placed there will not fall out due to lack of stability. It also has a drawer (2) for placing folders, purses, notebooks, books, etc.

Figures 3 and 4 show a university chair, in front and side view, respectively, with a platform (3) that can support notebooks and handheld computers, for this purpose it has rails and screws. This platform (3) is shown in top view in figure (5) without the screws. In Figure 6 it is shown in top view with the screws that can run inside the rails, adapting to the dimensions of the computer. Figure 7 shows a cross-sectional platform showing the computer fixing screws, which are basically a common flat-head screw with a "wing" nut to secure it, and consequently the laptop computer on the platform, If there is a need to use a book or notebook, the platform (3) lends itself to this, and it also has a pencil holder (1).

Figures 8 and 9 show details of the fixation of the apparatus on the platform, shown respectively in front and top view. Figure 10 shows a foreground bolt in side section, highlighting its leveling to the top of the platform to prevent undulation under the notebook when it is used. Figure 11 shows a foreground screw holding a computer.

Notwithstanding the problems and solutions presented above, another situation may occasionally require the use of platforms without any rails or unevenness, as in the case of tests where only few sheets are used, unlike generally thicker notebooks and books. In this situation, the rails would disturb the student by forcing him to place something flat under the test sheets. The solution found for this situation is dealt with in Figures 12 and 13, which show another platform (4), completely flat, which may have a smaller thickness, exactly the size of the platform (3), and attached to it by means of hinges. laterally to the platform (3) to avoid occupying more space. This platform (4) can be folded down and cover the platform (3), allowing it to be used as a common platform if necessary. Figure 13, profile view, shows the circular space that allows the use of the pencil holder when folded down. Figures 14 and 15 show the platform (4) folded horizontally over the platform (3). Finally, Figures 16, 17, 18 and 19, 20 and 21 show chairs of different types having drawers attached thereto. Figures 16 and 17 show common 4-legged chairs containing drawers immediately below the seat. Figures 18 and 19 show chairs with drawers attached to them, observing that due to their swiveling characteristic, the chairs must have their drawers attached to the seats, so that they can be attached to them when turning. It can be seen in Figures 18 and 19 drawers of lower depth due to the axis, and Figures 20 and 21 drawers of smaller width and greater depth.
