Abstract
Selon l'invention, une réaction endothermique est effectuée dans un réacteur (10) qui délimite une pluralité de premiers et seconds canaux de circulation (16, 17) disposés en alternance dans le réacteur pour assurer le contact thermique entre les premiers et seconds canaux de circulation. Le mélange de gaz (S) qui doit subir la réaction endothermique est introduit dans les seconds canaux de circulation (16). Le réacteur (10) comprend un collecteur d'entrée (30) en communication avec une pluralité des premiers canaux de circulation (17) et un mélange de gaz combustible (C) est introduit par le collecteur (30). Le mélange de gaz combustible est préchauffé et le débit est suffisamment élevé pour que le temps de séjour dans le collecteur (30) soit inférieur à 2 s. Si le temps de séjour est suffisamment court, le mélange peut être préchauffé à une température au-dessus de la température d'inflammation spontanée pour du gaz statique.
