Abstract

The IR radiation-reflective base for burners is intended to make harnessing heat from the flame more efficient, re-directing the IR radiation that is not used towards the cooking utensils on a domestic stove burner. An IR reflective surface (4) can be incorporated into the base of the cooker or raised above same so as to be closer to the flame. In the latter case, the surface can be: supported by three or more elevating feet (7), joined directly to the bars (3) that support the cooking utensils, or joined directly to the burner (2). Cavities (9) are formed between the above-mentioned feet (7) and air can enter through said cavities for gas combustion. In addition, a heat-insulating material can be added to the other face of the reflective surface (4).

Description

BASE REFLEJANTE DE RADIACIÓN IR PARA QUEMADORES.  REFLECTING BASE OF IR RADIATION FOR BURNERS.
The present invention is registered according to the International Classification of: F24C15, F24C3, F23D14, A47J27.
ESTADO DE LA TÉCNICA ANTERIOR STATE OF THE PREVIOUS TECHNIQUE
EXPLICACION DE LA INVENCIÓN  There are no known devices such as those expressed in the present invention. EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention aims to make more efficient use of heat from the flame, taking advantage of infrared (IR) or heat radiation, which for example radiates down in a domestic gas cooking fire. Said radiation is normally lost in the form of heat in the support base of the burner, but it can be used to heat the cooking utensil (pot, pan, etc.) more if said IR radiation is reflected upwards towards said utensil. Thus, a greater use of the heat of the gas fire and therefore a saving of gas for the same result.
For this, a reflective surface (4) of the IRs is available, which is located on one of the sides of the flame or flames, either incorporated or integrated in the same base of the kitchen where the burners are supported, whether placed high respect the base of the kitchen, to be closer to the flame or flames. Also said reflecting surface of the infrared rays could wrap the flame or flames leaving the final end of the flame or flames open.
The reflective surface (4) if it is incorporated in the base of the kitchen can be a circular crown or circular sectors (see figure 2) in the case that said reflective surface is not used under the support bars of the utensils of cooking (3). Also said reflecting surface (4) can follow the shape of the projection of the flame on the base of the kitchen, or of the burners.
The reflecting surface (4) placed elevated closer to the flame and more or less following its inclination or shape, can be supported by three or more legs (7) that raise it, or directly attached to the tool support bars of cooking (3), or also directly supported or joined by points or legs to the burner (2). In the case of being a piece that rises with legs (7) and that is centered by means of feet (8) to the burner (2), said legs (7) leave some important holes (9) because they are going to Entering the air and its oxygen for the combustion of the gas, and also by them it could drain the liquid or part of the liquid that could accidentally leave the cooking utensil and fall on the reflecting surface (4). Said reflecting surface (4) may have slits through which the support bars of the cooking utensils (3) can be housed.
Everything explained for the reflecting surface (4) can be added a heat insulating material on the opposite side to the reflecting surface (4), in order that said reflecting surface (4) does not cool the flame, and that its Once said reflective surface is heated, since it does not evacuate heat by having said insulating material, turn in the direction to the base of the cooking utensil.
