Description

METHOD FOR COMMUNICATION, AUDIO/VIDEO
RECORDING, STORING OF DIGITAL MATERIAL, FOR
EXAMPLE JOURNALISTIC MATERIAL The present invention concerns a method for communication, audio/video recording and storing of digital material, for example journalistic material.
Now day, in modern society, journalistic information has reached always more frantic connotations to conform the velocity of information consumption by modern world and new journalistic communication technologies always more require promptness to obtain news which are the subject matter of economically advantageous and profitable publication.
At present, communication movable devices are available permitting carrying out audio/video shots and to connect to the internet by wireless connection such as Wi-Fi, HSPA, UMTS, radio waves and infrared communications or like, as well as by cable connections. Said devices can acquire high quality images and sounds and thus transferring them outside by wireless or cable connection.
Further, said devices can indicate localization of information received, by suitable input and connections with specialised internet websites, such as, e.g., Google maps.
Finally, known devices can receive voice calls, text messages, or SMS, and e-mails.
However, said devices do not have a method for automatically integrating said functions.
Furthermore, another drawback of known devices is that of requiring an outer processor to transmit large amount of data, thus requiring time for transfer of data from known device to said processor and further time for processing, and thus for sending data.
Further, if it is not possible directly enter in an outer processor, it is not possible sending data in an optimized manner, often making it useless material transmitted in this way.
Starting from the above situation, it is the object of the present invention overcoming the above problems.
It is thus an object of the present invention that of providing a method for communication, audio/video recording and storing of digital material, for example journalistic material, permitting integrating within a single device functions necessary to communication, recording and storing of said digital material, for example journalistic material.
Another object of the present invention is that of providing a method as described in the above preventing needing of an outer device (e.g. a processor, connection cables or like), maintaining high quality of stored digital material.
Still another object of the present invention is that of providing a method for communication, audio/video recording and storing of digital material, for example journalistic material, very quickly, with remarkably reduced costs and easy to use.
In view of the above objects, the present invention provides a method for communication, audio/video recording and storing of digital material, for example journalistic material, the basic characteristic of which is claimed in claim 1. Further advantageous features are shown in the dependent claims.
All claims are to be fully included in the present specification. The present invention will be more clearly shown, for illustrative, but not limitative purposes, in the enclosed drawings, wherein:
figure 1 is a block diagram of method for communication, audio/video recording and storing of digital material, for example journalistic material, according to the present invention; and
figure 2 is a block diagram of a first alternative of the method according to the present invention.
The present invention provides a method for communication, audio/video recording and storing of digital material, for example journalistic material. In the above method, a database 100 contains a calendar of events for which a service is required, e.g. an audio/video shooting. Said database 100 can be updated by signalling received from third parties, users asking for services (in the following "customers") and/or users carrying out services (in the following "reporters"). Events are stored in database 100, classifying them by metadata file. Said metadata contain information relevant to classify the event, such as: date, hour and place of the event, its category (sport, music, show, ecc,...), the type of service required (photo, audio, video shooting), customer, ecc.
By creation of automatic alerts by database 100, a second database 200 containing profiles of registered reporters is asked to individuate reporters geographically much closer to the area interested by the event and that can make the required service. Thus, a service request is sent from database 200 to the reporters selected by database 200, said request requiring metadata characterising the service, said reporters receiving the request on a personal mobile device 300, e.g. a smart phone (known in the art and not described further). Selected reporters, replying to the request by mobile device 300, take over charge the service. By metadata sent, mobile device 300 creates a path to reach the signalled event, automatically setting parameters necessary to the type of shooting required, and service is thus done without any particular duty for the reporter, to which it is simply required to go where service is required and completing the same. Thus, once finished service, data generated by reporter are marked by a suitable univocal sign identifying every profile characterising reporters, besides a suitable recognizing watermark for database 200 and sent, by Wi-Fi, wireless and like connection to said database 200. Said database 200 stores data, signalling to database 100 that the commission has been completed.
More specifically, method for communication, audio/video recording and storing of digital material, for example journalistic material, comprises the following steps:
- a service request is generated by database 100 for a set event, specifying, e.g. date, time and place and type of event, along with features of the required service;
- an interrogation is generated to a second database containing the list of mobile devices of users, in the following also indicated as "reporters", available to make the required service and data necessary to the above mentioned reporters;
- sending the service request from customer to the selected mobile devices, the type of event (e.g. political event, sport event, show event), geo-localization of the event, the type of service required for said event and like,
- reception of the above information by movable devices,
- response from mobile devices to the request sent,
- in case a positive response is received from one or more mobile devices, it is recorded in event database, acceptance by mobile device(s), including a univocal identification code for each accepting mobile device, - automatically, mobile device creates a path on a map (e.g. by satellite navigation service) to reach the chosen event by indicating the type of service required by customer to reporter,
- when service is completed by reporter, mobile device automatically finalizes data of the said service, marks the same by a unique identification sign of the reporter, certifying them by a watermark, sending them to said server,
- reporter directly sends service by mobile device to server 200 that originally generated the request,
- data transmitted by reporter are stored and process is closed,
- database 200 can be asked by users authorized to preview the service already prepared,
- if user decides to buy the service, it is deleted from database 200 and an automatic invoice is generated in the name of reporter.
First variation of the method for communication, audio/video recording and storing of digital material, for example journalistic material:
In figure X, by reference number 100 it is indicated a database wherein particularly relevant events are stored. Said events are recorded comprising, for each one of them, metadata mainly indicating date, time and place and type of event, along with features of the required service. In case introduction of event is required within database by a user, name of who requires the service will be not included within said metadata of service, but rather stored within database 100.
Further, it is present a second database 200 comprising data and profiles of recorded reporters wishing making the service. Various information is present in said profiles, among which a service counter 210, a score counter 220. Said service counter 210 contains information about services made by reporter, indicating metadata of each service carried out, date when service has been made and customer who commissioned the same. For each new service, service counter 2 0 is updated with said data of new service made by corresponding reporter. A counter 211 is thus increased of one integer to take into consideration the number of completed services.
Score counter 210 contains data relevant to a score assigned by customer to each reporter after the service completed. Said score can be a numeric score, an alpha-numeric score or it can contain a written comment. First variation to said method provides the following steps:
- by automatic alerts generated by said metadata, a service request is generated by database 100,
- an interrogation for second database 200 is generated, containing list of mobile devices of reporters available to make the required service,
- sending the selected service request from customer to the selected mobile devices, indicating to reporters the type of event (e.g. political event, sport event, show event), geo-localization of the event, date and time of the event, the type of service required for said event, ecc.,,
- reception of the above information by movable devices,
- response from mobile devices to the request sent,
- in case a positive response from mobile devices, acceptance by mobile device(s) is recorded in event database, including an univocal identification code for each accepting mobile device,
- automatically, mobile device creates a path on a map (e.g. by satellite navigation service) to reach the chosen event by indicating the type of service required by customer to reporter,
- once reached the event and recorded the service on the basis of the sent requests, device automatically builts data comprising the service, by identification sign of the reporter, e.g. a watermark,
- when service is finished by reporter, mobile device automatically finalizes data comprising the service, certifies the same by said watermark, and sends them to said server,
- service is stored,
- database 200 implements counter 210,
- database 200 sends service to customer 500 requiring an evaluation of the product,
- sending evaluation from customer and recording the same by database 200 within reporter score counter 220,
- summing up a set value within counter 211 ,
- possible buying of service by customer,
- removal of the service from database 200,
- automatic invoicing in the name of reporter,
- closure of process.
Second variation of the method for communication, audio/video recording and storing of digital material, for example journalistic material: In the second variation of the method according to the present invention, database 200 contains reporter data and services made by the same can be accessed by third parties to download services.
In fact, an area is provided in said database 200 within which, by an interface 400, users can view previews of services, realized as described in the above, containing some data relevant to services contained within database, e.g. features of the event, date and place, type of service and a selection of set length of the service,
Thus, by said interface, they are reporters suggesting services that can be acquired by interested customers by direct downloading from database 200.
Further, both method according to the present invention and its variations can comprise, in addition to the above, a communication interface between said two databases 100 and 200, and outer servers for charging customers a possible cost for commissioned/downloaded cost, automatically handling economic transaction.
Finally, it clear that two databases 100, 200 can be replaced by a single database, replacing said two databases 100 and 200, can be provided without departing from the scope of the present invention.
Obviously, many variations and modifications can be introduced in the present invention without departing from the scope of the present invention.
