Abstract

The invention relates to a supporting wheel assembly (10) for a bicycle (100), comprising a coupling element (12) for attaching the supporting wheel assembly (10) to the bicycle (100), an outlier element (18), which is pivotably articulated to the coupling element (12) at a first outlier end (20), a supporting wheel (24), which is attached to the outlier end (18), and a load accommodating device (36) attached to the outlier element (18). Furthermore, the supporting wheel assembly (10) has a spring element (26), which is pivotably attached to the coupling element (12) by means of a first spring end (28) and to the outlier element (18) by means of a second spring end (30) in such a way and is designed in such a way that a first position (112) of the outlier element (18), in which the spring element (26) is in a substantially unloaded state, is a position of the outlier element (18) that is pivoted in the direction (34) of the load accommodating device (36) relative to a second position (110), in which the spring element (26) is in a loaded state. The invention further relates to a bicycle having such a supporting wheel assembly.
