Abstract
Selon l'invention, le matériau isolant soufflé, réfléchissant, ayant un revêtement adhésif (10), est un matériau pour fournir une isolation supplémentaire afin de réduire la perte ou le gain de chaleur, en particulier dans les maisons et les structures de construction similaires, en ajoutant une couche réfléchissante soufflée sur une isolation thermique dans le plafond ou le grenier de la structure. Le matériau (10) comprend des particules (12) de matériau réfléchissant (16) (feuille, matière plastique, etc.) ayant des surfaces adhésives (14). Les particules (12) sont déposées sur une couche d'isolation thermique. L'isolation soufflée réfléchissante (10) est particulièrement efficace lorsqu'elle est appliquée aux planchers d'un grenier. Les surfaces adhésives (14) sont efficaces pour empêcher les particules (12) de se disperser après avoir été soufflées dans la zone voulue et peut incorporer un retardateur de flamme.
