Abstract

본 발명은 이동통신시스템에서 마크로셀, 피코셀, 펨토셀 등의 셀 영역이 다양한 셀들이 동일 주파수 대역에 배치된 헷넷 망에서의 단말의 속도상태에 따른 효율적인 셀 (재)선택 방법을 정의한다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 이동통신시스템에서 단말의 셀 선택 제어방법은, 기지국으로부터 빠른 이동속도를 가지는 단말이 셀을 선택하지 않도록 하기 위한 셀리스트 정보를 수신하는 과정 및 단말이 빠른 이동속도를 가지는 경우, 셀리스트 정보에 포함된 셀들을 선택 또는 재선택 고려 대상의 셀로 간주 또는 간주하지 않도록 설정하는 과정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 동일한 주파수 대역을 사용하는 다른 다양 종류의 셀들로 구성되는 네트워크에서, 단말이 자신의 이동속도에 따라 셀 선택 또는 재선택 여부를 결정할 수 있다. 즉, 빠른 속도로 이동하는 단말이 서비스 빈번한 셀 선택 및 재선택하는 동작을 수행하지 않게 되며, 이로인해 셀 선택 및 재선택을 효율적으로 수행할 수 있으며, 또한 단말의 전력소비를 줄일 수 있는 이점이 있다.
