Abstract
The invention generally relates to compositions and methods for producing glycoproteins that have alter glycan structure and improved properties. Tbe glycoproteins are produced by modifying the glycosylation pathways in a host cell using an RNA effector molecule, such as an siRNA. Glycan-modified proteins produced using tbe methods described herein have improved properties, such as improved effector activity, improved pharmacokinetic properties, reduced immunogenicity in humans and the like.
