Abstract
A turbomachine (1) is equipped with at least one air flow generation unit (12) comprising an excitation unit (14), a vibration unit (16) which can be excited by the excitation unit (14) to create vibrations, and a connection unit (15) which mechanically connects the excitation unit (14) to the vibration unit (16). The connection unit (15) has multiple layers (4a, 5a, 6a). The turbomachine (1) can be made particularly compact and be produced at a low cost. The turbomachine (1) is particularly suitable for use in illumination devices, especially LED illumination devices, in particular to cool light-emitting diodes. An illumination device (R) has at least one semiconductor light source (L) and at least one turbomachine (1) for cooling the at least one semiconductor light source (L). A method for producing a turbomachine (1) is also disclosed.
