Abstract

본 발명은 영상 부호화 및 복호화 방법에 관한 것으로, 현재 블록에 인접한 적어도 하나의 제1 화소들과 예측 움직임 벡터를 이용하여 얻은 적어도 하나의 움직임 예측 블록에 인접하고 상기 제1 화소들에 대응하는 위치에 존재하는 제2 화소들에 근거하여 밝기 보상 파라미터를 산출하는 파라미터 산출부; 상기 적어도 하나의 움직임 예측 블록에 인접한 주변 화소들을 이용하여 상기 현재 블록에 대한 움직임 벡터에 의해 결정된 적어도 하나의 예측 블록 내부의 화소들 중 밝기 보상을 수행할 대상 화소를 선별하는 대상 화소 선별부; 및 선별된 대상 화소에 상기 밝기 보상 파라미터를 적용하여 상기 적어도 하나의 예측 블록에 대한 보상 예측 블록을 생성한 후 예측 부호화를 수행하는 예측 부호화부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 부호화 장치를 제공한다.
