Description

Fan
The present invention relates to a battery-type electric fan.
∙ Fans that use rechargeable batteries (DC power supplies) as power sources do not require AC power supplied to ordinary households, so they can be carried and used in various places such as construction sites. Moreover, if it removes a battery and charges with the charger prepared separately, it can be used repeatedly. For example, if a rechargeable battery pack used as a battery for electric tools such as electric drills and screwing machines can be used as a power source at a construction site, etc., this type of battery can be used efficiently with an electric fan and electric tool. Can do.
Techniques relating to a fan using a rechargeable battery as a power source are disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open Nos. 3-172598, 2000-92726, and US 2004/0147295. According to the disclosed technology, since a relatively heavy battery is mounted on the lower end portion of the support leg so as to function as a base, the electric fan can be stably installed.
However, in the conventional electric fan described above, the battery itself constitutes the base. For this reason, when the battery is replaced or when the battery is removed and charged, the entire fan needs to be lifted, and the removal operation of the battery is troublesome in this respect. Therefore, it is desirable that the battery can be removed without having to lift the electric fan.
According to one aspect of the present invention, the electric fan has a blowing function for generating wind and includes a main body portion and a pedestal portion. The main body includes a blade that is rotated by an electric motor and a guard that houses the blade. The pedestal is installed on the installation surface and supports the main body. The electric fan further includes a battery mounting unit and an additional device. The battery mounting portion is provided on the upper surface of the pedestal portion, and a battery pack for supplying power to the electric motor is mounted. The additional device has an additional function different from the air blowing function of the electric fan.
According to the first invention, since the battery pack is configured to be mounted on the upper surface of the pedestal portion, it is possible to attach and remove the electric fan without lifting the electric fan, thereby making it easy to use and handle the electric fan. Can increase the sex.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. As shown in FIG. 1, the electric fan 1 according to the present embodiment includes a main body 2 and a pedestal 6 that installs (maintains) the main body 2 on an installation surface F. The main body 2 includes an electric motor 3 (DC motor, see FIG. 2), a three-blade blade 4 (fan) that is rotated by the electric motor 3, and a guard 5 that covers the periphery of the blade 4.
A large handle portion 12 for carrying is provided on the upper portion of the guard 5. The periphery of the guard 5 except for the front and back is covered with an elastomer having moderate elasticity. The elastomer covering portion 18 that covers the periphery of the guard 5 prevents the guard 5 from being damaged and improves the durability of the electric fan 1. The elastomer covering portion 18 is provided with bumps 18a to 18a for buffering at appropriate intervals in the circumferential direction. The surrounding convex portions 18a to 18a enhance the shock absorbing ability of the guard 5 at the time of falling or the like, and prevent the damage more reliably.
The pedestal 6 includes a base 7 that is placed in contact with the installation surface F, and two legs 8 that extend upward from the left and right sides of the base 7 and support the main body 2 on both the left and right. , 9 are provided.
