Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un point d'accès sans fil et à un procédé de réglage d'une puissance d'émission radiofréquence. Le procédé selon l'invention comprend les étapes suivantes : le point d'accès sans fil surveille en continu le taux de perte de paquets d'une station de travail qui est connectée au point d'accès sans fil ; et, quand le taux de perte de paquets est inférieur à une première valeur de seuil, le point d'accès sans fil réduit progressivement sa puissance d'émission radiofréquence. Dans la présente invention, s'il peut être garanti que la communication de données entre le point d'accès sans fil et la station de travail ne sera pas affectée, il est possible de réduire la puissance d'une émission radiofréquence autant que de besoin, et de réduire efficacement la consommation totale d'énergie du point d'accès sans fil.
