Abstract

The present invention relates to a vehicle compartment (8) in which shafts (1) are used for the fastening thereof over the spare tyre (7), which shafts will be slipped over the screw (13) for the fastening thereof. Thus, the compartment (8) that is to have points for fastening of padlocks (17) that coincide with the points of the shafts (1) that pass through the lining of the boot (10), may be fastened with padlocks (9), which makes any attempt at theft either of articles left in the compartment or of the spare tyre (7) difficult since the assembly does not allow any access to the nut that would release the tyre and consequently to the set of shafts that hold the compartment (8).

These fastening methods do not provide the necessary safety and thus the box can be easily removed.
Document CN200978598 shows a safe for installations in various places, including vehicles, in which the opening will be through digital recognition. The safe mentioned does not provide a sufficiently secure fastening system.
Document CN2555350 shows a vehicle safe which has bolts and nuts as a means of attachment through plates at the base of the safe to be fixed in the trunk. Drilling of the bottom of the vehicle will be necessary, which may lead to water ingress and anticipated wear of the material. The fastening system with screws and nuts is easily removed with tools and the shape of the same occupies a large space in the trunk.
In addition to the above Documents, no other Document has presented a safe system that has an extra function against theft of the spare tire that is in the trunk.
To solve such inconveniences and offer a safer and more difficult system to be removed and still protect the reserve tire against thefts is that has developed the safe for vehicles with anti-theft system of the reserve tire.
The vehicle locker with anti-theft reserve tire system must have one or two non-restrictive boxes made of high-strength materials and locking points for padlocking. There should be four stems which will be attached to the reserve bolt of the reserve tire one by one and thus will be locked by having shapes that fit one on top of the other, in addition to a nut that will sign every set.
For placement of the rods, the reserve tire must first be removed from its carrier, leaving the reserve tire fixing bolt free. The first rod is then placed in the reserve tire securing bolt, engaging its square end with deepening to fit another rod and containing a hole in the center.
The four rods should be placed one after the other, always placing the next one on the opposite side and fitting the base of the rod that is square and deepening on the rod underneath. After placing the four rods, fix them to the bolt using an appropriate nut and tighten well to give stability to the rod assembly. After placing the rods, it returns with the reserve tire for its place and must be trapped with its nut.
The rods held under the tire and locked in the reserve tire fixation screw have a shape that allows the tire to be circumvented, that is to say, when placed, will leave the gap in the tire's groove free and wrap it in four opposing points. They should have length to overcome the lining plate covering the trunk and at their ends snap points that will secure the safe with the padlocks.
Thus, after assembly, the plate covering the trunk must be perforated to allow the tips of the rods to overtake it. When the tips of the rods have passed the plate covering the trunk, it will be possible to secure the safe on the rods, using locks, electronic locks or mechanical locks. Other technological resources such as electronic locks can also be used to fasten the safe to the rods as long as they offer sufficient security to the user.
That way, when the safe is locked by the locks, the whole set will also be holding the reserve tire. The set may have the option of having one or more safes for storing objects. If there are two vaults, the central rods should be forked and provide two locking points for each lock, so each vault would have three non-restrictive locking points.
The safes should have internally rubber linings for cushioning or space for placement of other mechanisms that may absorb impacts such as bubble and styrofoam plastics, not restrictive. The walls of the safes should have a diameter that gives them safety and difficulty to break them and precise fittings to make it difficult to place burglary tools.
The theft protection of the reserve tire will be made by the stems and the safe that are stuck on it. For the withdrawal of the reserve tire it will be necessary to remove the locks or locks that are attached to the points of attachment of the safe.
Considering the possibility of constructing a safe that can stand upright or in an upright position and thus occupy only the side of the vehicle to accommodate people carrying many objects in the trunk and would have difficulty accessing the safe horizontally, the safe vertical must have fixed rods in its box and a cover that will cover access to the reserve tire.
This cap, which should have snubber tubes to join with the stems under the spare tire and with the stems of the upright casket, all secured by padlocks and supported by the fixation of the rods under the spare tire. FIGURE 22 shows a side view of a safe secured with locks on two locking rods of the safe, which are secured to the reserve tire securing bolt to the vehicle frame.
FIGURE 23 shows a side view of a special screw having threads on its exterior and going to screw fitting, since some vehicles do not have the screw attached to the frame but rather a screw that should be removed when the tire is to be removed.
FIGURE 24 is a side view of two securing rods of the safe prior to being fixed by the special screw, since the fixing rods must be placed before the reserve tire and the set screw are fitted.
FIGURE 27 shows a top view of a part that will surround the entire spare tire in place of the fixing rods and that part also be secured to the reserve tire securing screw to lock the entire assembly that will secure the safe.
FIGURE 28 shows a side cross-sectional view of a part that would wrap around the spare tire in place of the fixing rods.
With reference to this invention, it is possible to verify the fastening rods (1) which are to be placed on the bolt (13) which is fastened to the structure of the vehicles and which fasten the reserve tire (7) with a nut. The fixing rods (1) should be placed one by one.
These rods 1 have one of the square shaped ends 2 and a deepening for the engagement of the rod 1 which will overlap and furthermore have a hole 3 in the lower face to allow their attachment to the screw 13) securing the reserve tire (7) in the trunk of the vehicles.
After placing the four stems (1), not restrictive, the placement of a nut on the assembly will be necessary for stabilization, firmness and safety. After a nut has been placed on the set of already fixed rods (1), the reserve tire (7) is replaced in its place, noting that the tire (7) will then be surrounded by the four rods (1), as in figure 8.
The nut is again screwed onto the bolt (13) which secures the tire (7) and thus rods (1) and tire (7) form a tightly attached joint.
After these procedures, the lining (10) covering the trunk should be perforated so that the ends (4) of the four rods (1) having the securing points (4) of the locks (9) can overtake it and remain a few centimeters above the lining (10). Thus, the trunk will have the liner (10) put in place and four ends (4) of rods (1) will appear, as in Figure 13.
The non-restrictive rectangular shaped box (8) should have at each lateral, non-restrictive, point of attachment (17) of the locks to the rods (1) in their structure.
The casing (8) should be a non-restrictive, non-restrictive inner partition (21) and bottom (20), constructed with resistant materials such as steel and should have as tight fitting fittings as possible. The lid (21) of the safe should cover the bottom of the safe (20) and be finished and fitted to prevent tooling for break-in. The system will be protected by the locks 9 and by the stems 1 that will be attached to the bolt 13 which secures the reserve tire 7 in the passenger compartment of the trunk.
There may be a configuration for having more than one safe (8) in the trunk, as in figure 16 and for this each safe (8) should have three non-restrictive locking points and the central rods (5) which in a top view they would be positioned at zero degree and one hundred and eighty degrees, there would be two recesses for the anchor points of the chests. They would be bifurcated as in figure 7.
After placing the rods 1 and 5 underneath the reserve tire 7, the spare tire is placed again by securing it with its nut and the liner 10 already pierced in the trunk on the rods (1) and (5), where six locking points for the two safes and padlocks will appear, as seen in figure 14. Thus two chests would be positioned in the trunk of the trunk and would increase the storage capacity valuables. Considering the fact that some vehicle models have a different reserve tire fixation system (7), where the bolt (13) is not fixed to the carriage structure but rather loose (14), as in figure 23, needing to be bolted in the structure of the car after the placing of the spare tire in its place, the fixing rods (1) need to be fixed by a special screw (16).
This special screw (16) will externally have the screw shape and should be hollow, with internal nut to receive the original bolt (14) of the vehicle. In order to use the system in this type of vehicle, after the withdrawal of the reserve tire (7), it is necessary to fasten each of the four rods (1) to the special screw (16) which will be bolted to the nut of the vehicle frame (15) and fasten them with a nut, which will give stability and safety.
After fixing the rods (1) to this special screw (16), the spare tire (7) must be inserted in place and then secured with its original screw (13), which will be screwed onto the hollow head of the special screw ( 16). The special bolt is an extension that secures the rods (1) to the vehicle structure and receives the original bolt (14), which will secure the reserve tire.
In the remainder the procedure is the same with respect to the previous description in which the screw (13) is originally attached to the vehicle structure.
The above-described horizontal safe (8) is positioned horizontally in vehicles, as in figure 10, but an upright safe option (11), as in figure 19, may also be constructed to assist persons carrying many objects in the vehicles and would have difficulty accessing the horizontal box (8).
In order that the upright casing 11 may be secured to the rods 1 placed under the reserve tire 7, it must have extension rods 18 so that it can be positioned on the side of the vehicle as in Figure 17 and also an (12) to protect the access to the reserve tire (7), as in figure 18.
Without such a cover 12, a person would have access to the reserve tire securing bolt 13 or 14 and to the rear of the vehicle and could also restrain it and also the securing rods 1 underneath that reserve tire, leaving the cofie (11) loose to be taken.
Such a vertical safe 11 should have a rectangular, non-restrictive shape, and the cap 21 and bottom 20 should be as tight as possible. It should be constructed with the rods (18) already attached to your body for added safety and increase the difficulties of removing it.
For the installation of the upright casing (11), it is sufficient to remove the reserve tire (7) from its carrier, to position the fixing rods (1) one by one in their positions on the reserve tire fixing screw (13) or (14) to the structure of the vehicle, to return with the tire reserve and to hold it with the nut in the bolt.
After the lining of the trunk (10) is fitted, the protective cap (12) of the reserve tire (7) should be placed which will have four engaging tubes in which three of these coincide with the tips of the extension rods (18) of the (11), as in figure 19. The fourth socket tube should be secured only with a lock. Next, position the upright casing (11) on the side of the vehicle and engage its three non-restrictive rods (18) in the reserve tire assembly (12) of the reserve tire with the securing rods (1) that lie under the reserve tire and lock with the locks (9).
As the locking system of the vertical casing (11) is different from the horizontal casing (8), in that it has rods (18) attached to the casing (11), the cover (12) for the reserve tire are located under the reserve tire 7, the cap tubes 12 which will protect the reserve tire should engage the stems under the tire 1 and then receive the engagement of the stems 18 of the upright casing and the padlocks (9), which will securing the three rods (18) of the safe and the other fixing point of the lid.
The safe may have an alarm system in any of its parts, or underneath it, in the stems on the reserve tire, not restrictive.
The invention may be constructed on a high scale by the automotive industry and in that case the four rods 1 which attach to the screw 13 or 14 which secures the reserve tire 7 may be affixed to the vehicle structure by welding (15), when it is the case of a loose screw, fixed on the rods (1), which is not restrictive, and has the locking nut of the screw (15).
The safe 8 as described uses fastening rods 1 which are to be clamped under the reserve tire 7 for economical reason and to facilitate carton transport at the time of sale but could have structures 19 which (7) as in figure 27 and serve as support and closure of the safe (8) with padlocks (9), rather than only four attachment points.
The described invention thus becomes innovative and of great relevance, so that people can have greater security and tranquility to transport, store and leave valuables inside their vehicles, since it uses as point of attachment of the safe (8) and ( 11), the fastening structure of the reserve tires (7) of the vehicles, without interfering in the operation of any element or system of the vehicle, occupying a space that is proper and reserved for transporting objects.
By innovating the state of the art, the invention provides a safe and difficult-to-break safe and yet protects the tire against theft.
