Abstract

It is primarily intended for use with pets, so its most common use will be the collection of dog urine, and can also be collected from bitches in any of its versions. It is clear how irritating it is to walk on the sidewalks of towns and cities having to overcome the excrements and endless streams of urine from dogs to avoid stepping on them. But it is even worse to have to clean it from your facade every day, without there being effective products or throwing poisons and seeing how the exterior wall of your house or trade is irretrievably damaged, or how a tree ends up dying.

It is not only about the uncivil attitudes of a few citizens, there are more and more pets and we speak, according to reports consulted this year, that there are 6 million dogs in Spain and in the world more than 275 million in the census, so that the actual figure will multiply these amounts. This issue has become a real problem that affects hygiene and public health that cannot be solved only with sanctions. The authorities, who spend millions of euros a year on street cleaning, as well as the owners of the animals, which in turn require the Administration to revert their taxes and fees in means to be able to attend and educate their pets conveniently, and those who without them suffer their consequences, recognize how dirty and unhygienic it is and for lack of comfortable and practical means, let the animals make their needs at will, making the public roads impassable and unhealthy.

Therefore, it is necessary to create a new, practical, lightweight, simple and economical system like the one we present, because we are all demanding it, as we can observe and hear comments on the internet, written press, radio, TV and the like in many countries.

With this collector and channeler of urination towards sinks, the aim is to improve and significantly overcome the advantages of other existing means for similar purposes, to encourage people who have pets and, above all, those who walk their dogs through the streets to make their needs, offering them in their path the possibility of stopping with your dog to urinate in a place indicated for this purpose, in addition to offering the advantage to the Town Halls of not needing any maintenance and wide durability for the materials used, and to the citizens, cleaner, healthier streets, without smells, no penalties and no arguments between neighbors.

With this simple invention, we contribute to greater civic education and respect. Recall that we also educate ourselves not to throw papers on the floor and for this purpose it has been arranged by all public paper bins sufficient.

ADVANTAGES

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

It is a practical and necessary invention, without mechanism, easy to install and without maintenance, as we will explain below.

Beginning in order of the designs, Figures 1 and 2 correspond to the version of private-domestic use, suitable for terraces, gardens, villas, urbanizations and others, for the materials used and the form described below:

It is a container (2), with a wide, short and shallow base so that any dog can urinate comfortably.

On this container a grid (3) is placed covering it completely, through which the urine is strained and from which a narrower and elongated cylindrical column (1) protrudes vertically and upwards, simulating a bollard, which may carry a fluorescent poster or sticker indicating its specific use (8) to which a telescopic tube or support for accessory elements (12) (advertising, lamppost, urban and garden decorative elements or the like) may be added.

The materials used in the prototypes of Figures 1 and 2 will preferably be biocompatible plastic, polyurethane or the like, with a thin outer surface, with a rounded and elongated shape on the widest base, although they could have any other decorative shape in the manufacture of your final design.
