Abstract

화면 간 예측 방법에서 움직임 예측 관련 정보 저장 방법 및 산출 방법이 개시된다. 저장 방법은 픽쳐의 예측 단위 크기 정보를 산출하는 단계와 상기 산출된 픽쳐의 예측 단위 크기 정보에 기초하여 상기 픽쳐의 움직임 예측 관련 정보를 적응적으로 저장하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다. 산출 방법은 제1 시간적 움직임 예측 후보 블록을 탐색하고 상기 제1 시간적 움직임 예측 후보 블록에서 제1 시간적 움직임 예측 관련 정보를 산출하는 단계와 제2 시간적 움직임 예측 후보 블록을 탐색하고 상기 제2 시간적 움직임 예측 후보 블록에서 제2 시간적 움직임 예측 관련 정보를 산출하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다. 따라서, 움직임 예측 관련 정보를 저장하기 위한 메모리 공간을 효율적으로 활용할 수 있고, 예측 블록과 원본 블록의 오차를 줄여 부호화 효율을 향상시킬 수 있다.
