Abstract

The invention relates to a protective cap for a pressurised fluid cylinder valve, comprising a body having one end intended to be mounted on a cylinder and another end including a manual gripping member (1) mounted such that it can rotate in relation to the rest of the body of the cap (5), in order to allow the rolling of a cylinder provided with such a cap while the cylinder is being maintained vertical manually using the gripping member (1). The gripping member (1) rotates together with a rotary shaft (2) rotatably mounted in a stationary bearing (3) solidly connected to the body of the cap (5). The cap is characterised in that the gripping member (1) is over-moulded onto the rotary shaft (2).
