Abstract
본 발명은 굴절률 변화 렌즈 및 그를 이용한 카메라 모듈에 관한 것이다. 즉, 본 발명의 굴절률 변화 렌즈는 원판(圓板) 형상의 제 1 매질과; 상기 제 1 매질의 외주면에 형성되고, 상기 제 1 매질의 굴절률보다 높은 제 2 매질을 포함하며, 상기 제 2 매질의 굴절률보다 높은 굴절률을 갖는 적어도 하나 이상의 매질들이 상기 제 2 매질의 외주면에 순차적으로 형성되어 구성한다.
Description
본 발명은 굴절률 변화 렌즈 및 그를 이용한 카메라 모듈에 관한 것이다.
최근, 양(+)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈 또는 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈를 포함하는 렌즈 광학계가 전자제품에 다각적으로 적용되고 있다.
특히, 이미지 픽업 시스템(Image Pick-up System)과 관련하여 통신단말기용 카메라 모듈, 디지털 스틸 카메라(DSC; Digital Still Camera), 캠코더, PC 카메라(퍼스널 컴퓨터에 부속된 촬상장치) 등은 렌즈 광학계를 포함하고 있다.
이러한 렌즈 광학계는 피사체의 상(Image)를 얻기 위해 중요한 요소로, 양(+)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈와 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈들로 이루어진 복수개의 렌즈들을 정렬하여 구성된다.
현재, 렌즈는 비구면 또는 구면의 렌즈 형상에 오목하게 또는 볼록하게 형성하여 양(+)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈 및 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈의 형상을 구현하고 있다.
본 발명은 렌즈 형상에 관계없이 양(+)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈 및 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈를 구현할 수 있는 과제를 해결하는 것이다.
본 발명은,
원판(圓板) 형상의 제 1 매질과;
상기 제 1 매질의 외주면에 형성되고, 상기 제 1 매질의 굴절률보다 높은 제 2 매질을 포함하며,
상기 제 2 매질의 굴절률보다 높은 굴절률을 갖는 적어도 하나 이상의 매질들이 상기 제 2 매질의 외주면에 순차적으로 형성되어 있는 굴절률 변화 렌즈가 제공된다.
그리고, 본 발명의 일실시예에서는 상기 렌즈의 중심에서 렌즈의 외곽으로 갈수록 굴절률이 증가할 수 있다.
본 발명은,
원판(圓板) 형상의 제 1 매질과;
상기 제 1 매질의 외주면에 형성되고, 상기 제 1 매질의 굴절률보다 낮은 제 2 매질을 포함하며,
상기 제 2 매질의 굴절률보다 낮은 굴절률을 갖는 적어도 하나 이상의 매질들이 상기 제 2 매질의 외주면에 순차적으로 형성되어 있는 굴절률 변화 렌즈가 제공된다.
또, 본 발명의 일실시예에서는 렌즈의 중심에서 렌즈의 외곽으로 갈수록 굴절률이 증가할 수 있다.
그리고, 상기 실시예들에서 상기 제 1 매질과 상기 제 2 매질은 동종 물질 또는 이종물질일 수 있다.
또, 상기 제 1 매질의 중심은 광축과 일치할 수 있다.
더불어, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면, 출사면과 양자 중 하나는 평면일 수 있다.
또, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면, 출사면과 양자 중 하나에 지지부가 형성될 수 있다.
그리고, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면 또는 출사면에 광경로를 변화시킬 수 있는 코팅막이 형성될 수 있다.
게다가, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면에 AR(Anti-Reflection) 코팅막이 형성될 수 있다.
본 발명은,
양(+)의 굴절력 또는 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 코어 렌즈부와;
상기 코어 렌즈부의 외주면에 형성되며, 상기 코어 렌즈부와 굴절률이 다른 보조 렌즈부를 포함하는 굴절률 변화 렌즈가 제공된다.
그리고, 상기 보조 렌즈부는 상기 코어 렌즈부의 외주면에 순차적으로 형성되고, 상호 굴절률이 다른 복수개의 매질들로 구성될 수 있다.
또, 상기 코어 렌즈부는 구면 또는 비구면 렌즈일 수 있다.
본 발명은,
피사체의 광을 촬상하는 이미지 센서와;
상기 이미지 센서로 상기 피사체의 광을 결상시키고, 굴절률 변화 렌즈가 적어도 하나 이상이 구비되는 렌즈군을 포함하여 구성되며,
상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈는,
원판(圓板) 형상의 제 1 매질과; 상기 제 1 매질의 외주면에 형성되고, 상기 제 1 매질의 굴절률과 다른 굴절률을 갖는 제 2 매질을 포함하는 굴절률 변화 렌즈,
또는 양(+)의 굴절력 또는 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 코어 렌즈부와; 상기 코어 렌즈부의 외주면에 형성되며, 상기 코어렌즈부와 굴절률이 다른 보조 렌즈부를 포함하는 굴절률 변화 렌즈인 카메라 모듈이 제공된다.
기존의 비구면 또는 구면의 렌즈 형상을 오목하게 또는 볼록하게 형성하여 양(+)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈 및 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈를 구현하였으나, 본 발명의 제 1과 제 2 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈는 적어도 2개 이상의 매질의 굴절률 차이를 이용하여 렌즈 형상에 관계없이 양(+)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈 및 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈를 구현할 수 있는 효과가 있다.

이하, 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명의 실시예를 설명하면 다음과 같다.
본 발명은 굴절률이 상이한 적어도 2개 이상의 매질(Medium, 媒質)을 이용하여, 렌즈의 중심에서 렌즈의 외곽으로 갈수록 굴절률이 변화되는 렌즈를 형성하여, 렌즈의 형상에 관계없이 양(+)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈 및 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈를 구현할 수 있는 것이다.
즉, 본 발명의 굴절률 변화 렌즈는 급격하게 변화되는 렌즈의 형상을 가공하지 않아도 되는 장점이 있다.
도 1은 본 발명의 제 1 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈를 설명하기 위한 모식적인 사시도이고, 도 2는 본 발명의 제 1 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 일례를 설명하기 위한 모식적인 사시도이며, 도 3은 본 발명의 제 1 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈에서 광선 진행 분포를 설명하기 위한 도면이다.
본 발명의 제 1 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈(100)는 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이, 원판(圓板) 형상의 제 1 매질(110)과; 상기 제 1 매질(110)의 외주면에 형성되고, 상기 제 1 매질(110)의 굴절률보다 높은 굴절률을 갖는 제 2 매질(120)을 포함하여 양(+)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈를 구현하는 것이다.
여기서, 본 발명의 제 1 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈(100)는 렌즈의 중심에서 렌즈의 외곽으로(A방향) 갈수록 굴절률이 증가되도록, 상기 제 1 매질(110)의 외주면에 상기 제 1 매질(110)보다 높은 굴절률을 갖는 제 2 매질(120)이 형성되어, 입사되는 광이 모아져 출사됨으로 양(+)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈를 구현할 수 있다.
이때, 상기 제 2 매질(120)의 굴절률보다 높은 굴절률을 갖는 적어도 하나 이상의 매질들이 상기 제 2 매질(120)의 외주면에 순차적으로 형성될 수 있다.
그리고, 상기 제 1 매질(110), 제 2 매질(120) 및 상기 제 2 매질(120)의 외주면에 순차적으로 형성되는 매질들은 굴절률만 상이한 동종 물질 또는 이종물질을 적용할 수 있다.
도 2와 같이, 본 발명의 제 1 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈(100)는 상기 제 2 매질(120)의 외주면에 순차적으로 적어도 하나 이상의 매질들(130,140,150,160)이 형성될 수 있다.
이렇게, 상기 제 2 매질(120)의 외주면에 복수개의 매질들(130,140,150,160)이 형성된 굴절률 변화 렌즈(100)의 광선 진행 분포는 도 3과 같아, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈(100)를 출사한 광선이 한점으로 모아져 양(+)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈가 구현됨을 알 수 있다.
그리고, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면 또는 출사면에 광경로를 변화시킬 수 있는 코팅막이 형성되어 구성될 수 있다.
도 4는 본 발명의 제 2 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈를 설명하기 위한 모식적인 사시도이고, 도 5는 본 발명의 제 1 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈에서 광선 진행 분포를 설명하기 위한 도면이다.
본 발명의 제 2 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈(200)는 원판 형상의 제 1 매질(210)과; 상기 제 1 매질(210)의 외주면에 형성되고, 상기 제 1 매질(210)의 굴절률보다 낮은 굴절률을 갖는 제 2 매질(220)을 포함하여 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈를 구현한다.
이 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 굴절률 변화 렌즈(200)는 렌즈의 중심에서 렌즈의 외곽으로(B방향) 갈수록 굴절률이 감소된다.
그러므로, 본 발명의 제 2 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈(200)는 도 5에 도시된 바와 같이, 입사되는 광이 굴절되어 렌즈 바깥으로 퍼지게 되어, 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈를 구현하게 된다.
도 6은 본 발명의 제 1과 제 2 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면과 출사면을 설명하기 위한 개략적인 단면도이고, 도 7 내지 도 9는 본 발명의 제 1과 제 2 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 다른 일례를 설명하기 위한 개략적인 단면도이다.
본 발명의 제 1과 제 2 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)의 제 1 매질(310)의 중심은 광축(O)과 일치한다.
그리고, 상기 제 1 매질(310)의 외주면에 제 2 매질(320)과 제 3 매질(330)이 순차적으로 형성되어 있는 경우, 상기 광축(O)을 중심으로, 상기 제 1 매질(310) 내지 상기 제 3 매질(330)은 대칭적으로 형성되어 있는 것이 좋다.
또, 도 6과 같이, 광이 'C'방향에서 'D'방향으로 진행될 때, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)의 광이 입사되는 면을 입사면으로 정의하고, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)에서 광이 출사되는 면을 출사면으로 정의하는 경우, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)의 입사면, 출사면과 양자 중 하나는 평면으로 구성될 수 있다.
따라서, 기존의 비구면 또는 구면의 렌즈 형상을 오목하게 또는 볼록하게 형성하여 양(+)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈 및 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈를 구현하였으나, 본 발명의 제 1과 제 2 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈는 적어도 2개 이상의 매질의 굴절률 차이를 이용하여 평면 형상의 양(+)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈 및 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈를 구현할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
그리고, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)의 입사면, 출사면과 양자 중 하나에는 상기 제 1 매질(310) 내지 상기 제 3 매질(330)을 지지하기 위한 지지부가 형성될 수 있다.
여기서, 상기 지지부는 본 발명의 제 1과 제 2 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)를 형성하기 위한 지지 역할을 수행할 수 있다.
이러한 지지부는 광 투과율이 우수한 투명한 재질로 적용되어야 한다. 예컨대, 상기 지지부의 재질은 플라스틱, 투명 수지, 글래스 등이 적용될 수 있다.
즉, 도 7에 도시된 바와 같이, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)의 입사면(301)에 지지부(510)가 형성되거나, 도 8과 같이, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)의 출사면(302)에 지지부(510)가 형성되어 있거나, 도 9와 같이, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)의 입사면(301) 및 출사면(302) 각각에 지지부(510,520)가 형성될 수 있다.
그리고, 상기 지지부는 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)의 광학적 기능을 보충하기 위한 역할을 수행할 수 있다.
예컨대, 상기 지지부가 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)의 광학적 기능을 최적화시키기 위해, 소정의 굴절률을 갖을 수 있거나, 또는 상기 지지부에 구면, 비구면 등과 같은 렌즈의 형상이 형성될 수도 있다.
도 10은 본 발명의 제 1과 제 2 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 또 다른 일례를 설명하기 위한 개략적인 단면도이다.
이 일례의 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)는 입사되는 광이 반사되는 광성분을 감소시키고 투과율을 높이기 위해, 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)의 입사면에 AR(Anti-Reflection) 코팅막(550)을 형성하는 것이다.
상기 AR 코팅막(550)은 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)의 반사율을 감소시키고, 투과율을 높이는 역할을 수행할 뿐만 아니라, 상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈(300)를 구성하는 매질들을 지지하는 역할도 수행한다.
도 11와 도 12는 본 발명의 제 3 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈를 설명하기 위한 사시도 및 단면도이다.
본 발명의 제 3 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈는 양(+)의 굴절력 또는 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 코어 렌즈부(810)의 외주면에, 상기 코어 렌즈부(810)와 굴절률이 다른 보조 렌즈부(820)가 형성되는 것이다.
상기 보조 렌즈부(820)는 상기 코어 렌즈부(810)와 결합되어, 제 3 실시예에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 광학적 기능을 최적화시키기 된다.
이때, 상기 보조 렌즈부(820)는 상기 코어 렌즈부(810)의 외주면에 순차적으로 형성되고, 상호 굴절률이 다른 복수개의 매질들로 구성될 수 있다.
그리고, 상기 코어 렌즈부(810)는 구면 또는 비구면 렌즈로 구성될 수 있다.
도 13은 본 발명에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈를 이용한 카메라 모듈을 설명하기 위한 개략적인 구성 블록도이다.
전술된 본 발명의 제 1 실시예 내지 제 3 실시예의 굴절률 변화 렌즈는 모든 광학계에 적용될 수 있다.
즉, 본 발명에 따른 굴절률 변화 렌즈를 이용한 카메라 모듈은 도 10과 같이, 피사체의 광을 촬상하는 이미지 센서(700)와; 상기 이미지 센서(700)로 상기 피사체의 광을 결상시키고, 제 1 실시예 내지 제 3 실시예의 굴절률 변화 렌즈 중 적어도 하나 이상의 굴절률 변화 렌즈가 구비되는 렌즈군(600)을 포함하여 구성된다.
본 발명은 구체적인 예에 대해서만 상세히 설명되었지만 본 발명의 기술사상 범위 내에서 다양한 변형 및 수정이 가능함은 당업자에게 있어서 명백한 것이며, 이러한 변형 및 수정이 첨부된 특허청구범위에 속함은 당연한 것이다.
본 발명은 적어도 2개 이상의 매질의 굴절률 차이를 이용하여 렌즈 형상에 관계없이 양(+)의 굴절력을 갖는 렌즈 및 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 굴절률 변화 렌즈는 제공한다.
Claims (20)
- 원판(圓板) 형상의 제 1 매질과;상기 제 1 매질의 외주면에 형성되고, 상기 제 1 매질의 굴절률보다 높은 제 2 매질을 포함하며,상기 제 2 매질의 굴절률보다 높은 굴절률을 갖는 적어도 하나 이상의 매질들이 상기 제 2 매질의 외주면에 순차적으로 형성되어 있는 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 렌즈의 중심에서 렌즈의 외곽으로 갈수록 굴절률이 증가되는 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 매질과 상기 제 2 매질은,동종 물질 또는 이종물질인 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 매질의 중심은 광축과 일치하는 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면, 출사면과 양자 중 하나는 평면인 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면 또는 출사면에 광경로를 변화시킬 수 있는 코팅막이 형성되어 있는 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면, 출사면과 양자 중 하나에 지지부가 형성되어 있는 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면에 AR(Anti-Reflection) 코팅막이 형성되어 있는 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 원판(圓板) 형상의 제 1 매질과;상기 제 1 매질의 외주면에 형성되고, 상기 제 1 매질의 굴절률보다 높은 제 2 매질을 포함하며,상기 제 2 매질의 굴절률보다 낮은 굴절률을 갖는 적어도 하나 이상의 매질들이 상기 제 2 매질의 외주면에 순차적으로 형성되어 있는 굴절률 변화 렌즈 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 렌즈의 중심에서 렌즈의 외곽으로 갈수록 굴절률이 감소되는 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 매질과 상기 제 2 매질은,동종 물질 또는 이종물질인 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 매질의 중심은 광축과 일치하는 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면, 출사면과 양자 중 하나는 평면인 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면 또는 출사면에 광경로를 변화시킬 수 있는 코팅막이 형성되어 있는 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면, 출사면과 양자 중 하나에 지지부가 형성되어 있는 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,굴절률 변화 렌즈의 입사면에 AR(Anti-Reflection) 코팅막이 형성되어 있는 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 양(+)의 굴절력 또는 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 코어 렌즈부와;상기 코어 렌즈부의 외주면에 형성되며, 상기 코어 렌즈부와 굴절률이 다른 보조 렌즈부를 포함하는 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,상기 보조 렌즈부는,상기 코어 렌즈부의 외주면에 순차적으로 형성되고, 상호 굴절률이 다른 복수개의 매질들로 구성되어 있는 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,상기 코어 렌즈부는,구면 또는 비구면 렌즈인 굴절률 변화 렌즈.
- 피사체의 광을 촬상하는 이미지 센서와;상기 이미지 센서로 상기 피사체의 광을 결상시키고, 굴절률 변화 렌즈가 적어도 하나 이상이 구비되는 렌즈군을 포함하여 구성되며,상기 굴절률 변화 렌즈는,원판(圓板) 형상의 제 1 매질과; 상기 제 1 매질의 외주면에 형성되고, 상기 제 1 매질의 굴절률과 다른 굴절률을 갖는 제 2 매질을 포함하는 굴절률 변화 렌즈,또는 양(+)의 굴절력 또는 음(-)의 굴절력을 갖는 코어 렌즈부와; 상기 코어 렌즈부의 외주면에 형성되며, 상기 코어 렌즈부와 굴절률이 다른 보조 렌즈부를 포함하는 굴절률 변화 렌즈인 카메라 모듈.
