Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine wiederaufladbare Batterie (1) mit zumindest einem Stapel (S) von aneinandergereihten Batteriezellen (3), wobei im Bodenbereich der Batterie (1) zumindest ein Wärmeleitelement (5) angeordnet ist, welches mit einer Grundplatte (6) verbunden ist. Um mit möglichstem geringem Fertigungsaufwand eine optimale Kühlung der Batterie (1) zu gewährleisten, ist vorgesehen, dass ein aus dem Stapel (S) herausragendes Ende (5a) des Wärmeleitelements (5) zumindest teilweise innerhalb der Grundplatte (6) angeordnet ist.
Description
Wiederaufladbare Batterie
Die Erfindung betrifft eine wiederaufladbare Batterie mit zumindest einem Stapel von aneinandergereihten Batteriezellen, wobei im Bodenbereich der Batterie zumindest ein Wärmeleitelement angeordnet ist, welches mit einer Grundplatte verbunden ist.
Die DE 10 2008 061 755 AI beschreibt eine Halte- und Kühlungsvorrichtung für zumindest eine Energiespeichereinheit. Wobei die Halte- und Kühlungsvorrichtung eine Mehrzahl von daran stoffschlüssig befestigten Halteelementen aufweist. Die stoffschlüssige Verbindung ist dabei durch Verlöten oder Verschweißen der Grundplatte mit den Halteelementen hergestellt, so dass eine metallische Verbindung zwischen der Grundplatte und den Halteelementen ausgebildet ist. Diese metallische Verbindung ermöglicht eine gute Wärmeübertragung. Nachteilig ist, dass das Verlöten oder Verschweißen arbeitsaufwändige Fertigungsschritte benötigt.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, mit möglichst geringem Aufwand eine optimale Temperierung der Batterie zu ermöglichen.
Erfindungsgemäß wird dies dadurch erreicht, dass ein aus dem Stapel herausragendes Ende des Wärmeleitelements zumindest teilweise innerhalb der Grundplatte angeordnet ist, wobei vorzugsweise der Stapel von Batteriezellen als vormontiertes Batteriezellenmodul ausgebildet ist.
Die Batteriezellen werden aneinander gereiht und zu einem vormontierten Batteriezellenmodul zusammengepresst. Zwischen jeweils zwei benachbarten Batteriezellen oder Batteriezellenpaaren ist jeweils ein Wärmeleitelement angeordnet, wobei ein Ende des Wärmeleitelementes aus dem Stapel hervorragt. Die hervorragenden Enden werden in die Grundplatte eingepresst, wobei die Grundplatte eine geringere Härte als das Wärmeelement aufweisen kann. Alternativ oder zusätzlich dazu kann auch das aus dem Stapel herausragende Ende des Wärmeleitelementes in entsprechend vorgeformte Ausnehmungen der Grundplatte eingesteckt werden. In weiterer Ausführung der Erfindung ist es auch möglich, dass das aus dem Stapel herausragende Ende des Wärmeleitelementes in die Grundplatte eingegossen ist.
Alternativ zum vormontierten Batteriezellenmodul können die Wärmeleitelemente auch zuerst durch einen Gieß- oder Pressvorgang mit der Grundplatte verbunden
werden und erst danach die Batteriezellen zwischen den Wärmelementen angeordnet und zusammengepresst werden.
Durch das Eingießen oder Einpressen kann auf möglichst einfache Weise eine gute wärmeleitende Verbindung zwischen Wärmeleitelement und der Grundplatte geschaffen werden.
Die Wärmeleitelemente sind durch Platten, Rippen, Bleche oder dergleichen gebildet und können rippenartig oder wellenartig geformt sein. Die Wärmeleitelemente können sich über die gesamte Höhe des Batteriezellenmoduls erstrecken, oder nur im an die Grundplatte grenzenden Drittel des Batteriezellenmoduls vorgesehen sein.
Um eine gute Wärmeübertragung von Batteriemodul zur Grundplatte zu erreichen, ist es vorteilhaft, wenn die Wärmeleitelemente und/oder die Grundplatte aus Aluminium oder aus Kupfer bestehen.
Um eine thermische Beschädigung der Batteriezellen bei der Herstellung zu vermeiden, muss der Wärmeeintrag in die Batteriezellen beim Eingießen möglichst klein gehalten werden. Um eine Überhitzung der Batteriezellen zu vermeiden, ist es daher vorteilhaft, wenn die Grundplatte von den Batteriezellen beabstandet ist, wobei zwischen den Batteriezellen und der Grundplatte ein vorzugsweise mit Isoliermaterial gefüllter Raum aufgespannt ist.
Besonders vorteilhaft ist es, wenn die Grundplatte zumindest einen Kühlmittelkanal aufweist, wobei vorzugsweise das Ende des eingegossenen Wärmeleitelementes in den Kühlkanal hineinragt. Auf diese Weise kann ein optimaler Abtransport der Wärme aus den Batteriezellen über die Wärmeleitelemente in das Kühlmedium gewährleistet werden.
Die Erfindung wird im folgenden anhand der Figuren näher erläutert. Es zeigen :
Fig. 1 eine erfindungsgemäße Batterie in einer Schrägansicht;
Fig. 2 die Batterie in einer Draufsicht;
Fig. 3 die Batterie in einer Seitenansicht; und
Fig. 4 das Detail IV aus Fig. 3.
Die wiederaufladbare Batterie 1 weist einen Batteriezellenmodul 2 bestehend aus einem Stapel S von aneinandergereihten flachen Batteriezellen 3 auf, wobei die Batteriezellen 3 jeweils am Ende des Stapels S durch Druckplatten 4 zusammen-
gepresst werden. Jeweils zwei Batteriezellen können zu einem Batteriezellenpaar in einem Rahmen zusammengefasst sein.
Zwischen jeweils zwei benachbarten Batteriezellen 3 sind jeweils Wärmeleitelemente 5 angeordnet, wobei die Enden 5a der Wärmeleitelemente 5 aus dem Stapel S von Batteriezellen 3 an der Unterseite des Batteriezellenmoduls 2 hervorragen.
Die Wärmeleitelemente 5 können durch Platten, Rippen oder Bleche aus Kupfer, Magnesium oder Aluminium gebildet und wellenartig geformt sein.
Im unteren Bereich der Batterie 1 ist eine Grundplatte 6 angeordnet, welche fest mit dem Batteriezellenmodul 2 wärmeleitend verbunden ist.
Die wärmeleitende Verbindung wird auf einfache Weise dadurch erreicht, dass die aus dem Stapel S herausragenden Enden 5a der Wärmeleitelemente 5 zumindest teilweise innerhalb der Grundplatte 6 angeordnet werden. Die Enden 5a der Wärmeleitelemente 5 können beispielsweise in die Grundplatte 6 eingepresst werden, wobei die Grundplatte 6 eine geringere Härte aufweisen kann, als die Wärmeleitelemente 5. Die Grundplatte 6 wird dabei elastisch oder plastisch durch die Wärmeleitelemente 5 verformt. Es ist auch möglich, dass die aus dem Stapel S herausragenden Enden 5a der Wärmeleitelementes 5 in entsprechend vorgeformte Ausnehmungen der Grundplatte 6 eingesteckt werde. Dies ermöglicht eine gute Wärmeübertragung von den Wärmeleitelementen 5 in die Grundplatte 6.
Eine besonders gute thermische Anbindung der Wärmeleitelemente 5 an die Grundplatte 6 lässt sich erreichen, wenn die Wärmeleitelemente 5 bei der Herstellung der Grundplatte 6 in diese eingegossen werden. Durch das Eingießen wird eine feste wärmeleitende Verbindung zwischen dem Batteriezellenmodul 2 und der Grundplatte 6 erreicht. Zusätzliche Verbindungselemente zwischen dem Batteriezellenmodul 2 und der Grundplatte 6 können entfallen.
Die Wärmeleitelemente 5 und/oder die Grundplatte 6 können aus Aluminium, Stahlblech oder Kupfer bestehen.
Gegebenenfalls können in die Grundplatte 6 Kühlkanäle 8 und/oder Kühlrippen 9 eingeformt sein. Um einen optimalen Wärmeabtransport zu ermöglichen, können die Wärmeleitelemente 5 in den Kühlkanal 8 hineinragen oder in den Kühlrippen 9 angeordnet sein, wodurch eine relativ große vom Kühlmedium benetzte Oberfläche erreicht wird . Die Kühlkanäle 8 können nach unten durch einen aufgesetzten Abschlussdeckel 10 abgeschlossen sein. Der beispielsweise durch Schrauben an der Grundplatte 6 befestigte Abschlussdeckel 10 kann dabei gegenüber einem
Dichtflansch der Grundplatte 6 über eine nicht weiter dargestellte Dichtung abgedichtet sein.
Um die Batteriezellen 3 beim Gießvorgang möglichst wenig thermisch zu beanspruchen, ist das Batteriezellenmodul 2 von der Grundplatte 6 beabstandet, so dass zwischen dem Batteriezellenmodul 2 und der Grundplatte 6 ein Raum 7 aufgespannt wird. Der Raum 7 kann gegebenenfalls mit einem Isoliermaterial gefüllt sein.
Zur Montage der Batterie 1 am Fahrzeug weist die Grundplatte 6 an zumindest zwei gegenüberliegenden Seiten Befestigungslaschen 11 mit Aufnahmebohrungen 12 für nicht weiter dargestellte Befestigungsschrauben auf.
Claims
1. Wiederaufladbare Batterie (1) mit zumindest einem Stapel (S) von aneinandergereihten Batteriezellen (3), wobei im Bodenbereich der Batterie (1) zumindest ein Wärmeleitelement (5) angeordnet ist, welches mit einer Grundplatte (6) verbunden ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein aus dem Stapel (S) herausragendes Ende (5a) des Wärmeleitelements (5) zumindest teilweise innerhalb der Grundplatte (6) angeordnet ist.
2. Batterie (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Wärmeleitelement (5) durch eine Platte, Rippe oder ein Blech gebildet ist.
3. Batterie (1) nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Wärmeleitelement (5) aus Kupfer, Stahlblech oder Aluminium besteht.
4. Batterie (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Grundplatte (6) aus Kupfer, Magnesium oder Aluminium besteht.
5. Batterie (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Wärmeleitelement (5) gerippt oder wellenartig geformt ist.
6. Batterie (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Grundplatte (6) von den Batteriezellen beabstandet ist, wobei zwischen den Batteriezellen (3) und der Grundplatte (6) ein vorzugsweise mit Isoliermaterial gefüllter Raum (7) aufgespannt ist.
7. Batterie (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Grundplatte (6) zumindest einen Kühlmittelkanal (8) aufweist, wobei vorzugsweise das Ende (5a) des eingegossenen Wärmeleitelementes (5) in den Kühlkanal (8) hineinragt.
8. Batterie (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Grundplatte (6) zumindest einen Kühlrippe (9) aufweist, wobei vorzugsweise das Ende des eingegossenen Wärmeleitelementes (5) innerhalb der Kühlrippe (8) angeordnet ist.
9. Batterie (1) nach Anspruch 7 oder 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Grundplatte (6) einen die Kühlkanäle (8) an der dem Batteriemodul (2) abgewandten Seite abschließenden Abschlussdeckel (10) aufweist.
10. Batterie (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zumindest zwischen zwei benachbarten Batteriezellen (3) oder zwi- sehen zwei benachbarten Batteriezellenpaaren ein Wärmeleitelement (5) angeordnet ist.
11. Batterie (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich das Wärmeleitelement (5) über zumindest ein Drittel der Höhe einer Batteriezelle (3) erstreckt.
12. Batterie (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das aus dem Stapel (S) herausragende Ende (5a) des Wärmeleitelementes (5) in die Grundplatte (6) eingepresst ist, wobei vorzugsweise die Grundplatte (6) eine geringere Härte aufweist, als das Wärmeleitelement (5).
13. Batterie (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das aus dem Stapel (S) herausragende Ende (5a) des Wärmeleitelementes (5) in entsprechend vorgeformte Ausnehmungen der Grundplatte (6) eingesteckt ist.
14. Batterie (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das aus dem Stapel (S) herausragende Ende (5a) des Wärmeleitelementes (5) in die Grundplatte (6) eingegossen ist.
15. Batterie (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Grundplatte (6) zumindest eine Befestigungslasche (11) aufweist.
16. Batterie (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Stapel (S) von Batteriezellen (3) als vormontiertes Batteriezellenmodul (2) ausgebildet ist.
