Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren (40) zum Überwachen eines Drehmoments eines Elektromotors (10), insbesondere zur Anwendung in einem Kraftfahrzeug, wobei der Elektromotor (10) mehrphasig mit elektrischem Strom (IS1, IS2, IS3) versorgt wird, wobei ein erster Drehmomentwert (M2) des von dem Elektromotor (10) abgegebenen Drehmoments auf der Grundlage einer von dem Elektromotor (10) aufgenommenen elektrischen Leistung und einer erfassten Drehzahl (n) eines Rotors des Elektromotors (10) bestimmt wird (58), wobei ein zweiter Drehmomentwert (M1) auf der Grundlage von wenigstens einem gemessenen Phasenstrom (IS1, IS2, IS3) und einer Drehposition des Rotors bestimmt wird und die beiden bestimmten Drehmomentwerte (M1, M2) zur Plausibilitätsprüfung miteinander verglichen werden (60).
