Abstract
L'invention concerne des dispositifs (10) et des systèmes (120) de stockage d'énergie thermique, ainsi que des procédés de stockage d'énergie utilisant ces dispositifs et systèmes. Les dispositifs comprennent un trajet d'écoulement (4) comprenant une pluralité de sections disposées de manière à réduire ou minimiser les pertes thermiques du dispositif lorsque la chaleur circule dans le trajet d'écoulement. Le trajet d'écoulement (4) comprend de préférence deux sections de trajet d'écoulement en cage (20) ou plus. Le dispositif comprend un matériau de stockage d'énergie thermique (2) permettant de stocker de la chaleur. Les dispositifs peuvent être particulièrement utiles pour stocker de la chaleur pendant des durées prolongées.
