信息获取方法和基站 技术领域
本发明涉及无线通信领域 ,特别涉及一种获取用户设备的多媒体广 播多播业务的接收状态信息的信息获取方法和基站。 背景技术
目前, 为了更好地满足移动用户体验多媒体广播多播业务 (MBMS: Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service)的需求, 也为了更有效地利用有限 的频谱资源, 第三代合作伙伴计划(3GPP : 3rd Generation Partnership Project)在长期演进 (LTE, Long Term Evolution) R9中支持采用组播广播 单频网 (MBSFN: Multicast Broadcast Single Frequency Network) 传输 MBMS 业务。采用组播广播单频网(MBSFN)传输广播多播业务需要参 与传输的多个基站采用完全相同的时频资源同时传输相同的数据。 与单 小区 MBMS传输方式相比, MBSFN传输方式能够更有效地避免小区间 干扰, 带来额外的分集增益, 因此, 能够极大改善接收用户的业务接收 能力。
但是在实现本发明的过程中发明人发现现有技术中存在如下问题: 为了便于实现和易于部署, 目前的 LTE MBMS标准中, 接收 MBMS的 用户设备不向所在基站上报其 MBMS接收情况。 在接收 MBMS的用户 设备移出相应的 MBSFN 区域时, 由于目标基站无法获取该用户设备的 MBMS 接收状态信息, 使得目标基站无法为该用户设备提供相应的 MBMS服务, 有可能导致该用户设备的 MBMS中断, 无法保证该用户设 备的 MBMS服务的连续性。
应该注意, 上面对技术背景的介绍只是为了方便对本发明的技术方 案进行清楚、 完整的说明, 并方便本领域技术人员的理解而阐述的。 不 能仅仅因为这些方案在本发明的背景技术部分进行了阐述而认为上述技 术方案为本领域技术人员所公知。 发明内容 本发明实施例的目的在于提供一种信息获取方法和基站, 在用户设 备在小区间切换时, 该用户设备的源基站通知目标基站该用户设备的
MBMS的接收状态信息, 从而保证该用户设备的 MBMS的连续性。

步骤 101, 在用户设备 UE在小区间切换时, 目标基站 (Target eNB ) 接收源基站 (Source eNB ) 上报的该用户设备的多媒体广播多播业务 (MBMS ) 的接收状态信息;
其中, 该接收状态信息包括指示该用户设备正在接收 MBMS的信息, 或者包括指示该用户设备结束接收 MBMS的信息。
这样, 该目标基站通过源基站上报的信息来获得该用户设备的 MBMS 的接收状态, 从而可保证该用户设备 MBMS的连续性。
在本实施例中, 该源基站可采用 UE MBMS 接收状态报告 (UE-MBMS Reception Report ) 消息向该目标基站上报该接收状态信息, 但不限于 上述消息, 还可采用其他任何一种消息来上报上述接收状态信息。 例如, 通过表示正在接收的 UE-MBMS Reception Report (MBMS on) 消息上报该 接收状态信息, 或者通过表示结束接收的 UE-MBMS Reception Report (MBMS off ) 消息上报该接收状态信息。 在本实施例中, 在源基站向目标基站上报包括指示该用户设备正在 接收或结束接收 MBMS的信息时, 还可上报 MBMS业务信息, 该业务信息 可包括以下信息其中之一或之几:
组播广播单频网 (MBSFN) 区域标识、 多媒体广播多播业务 (MBMS ) 标识、 多媒体广播多播业务 (MBMS) 会话标识、 临时移动组标识 (TMGI : Temporary Mobi le Group Identity) 和承载 MBMS的载波频率。
在本实施例中, 如图 1所示, 可选地, 该方法还可包括: 步骤 102, 该目标基站向该源基站返回接收确认消息; 其中, 在本实施例中, 该目 标基站可通过 UE MBMS接收状态确认 (UE-MBMS Reception Confirm) 消 息向源基站回复确认消息, 但不限于上述消息, 还可采用其他任何一种 消息来回复确认消息。
由上述实施例可知, 在用户设备在小区间切换时, 该用户设备的源 服务基站通知目标基站该用户设备的 MBMS的接收状态信息, 从而保证 该用户设备的 MBMS的连续性。 此外, 还可通知 MBSFN区域标识、 MBMS 标识、 MBMS会话标识、 TMGI和承载 MBMS的载波频率等信息。
在本实施例中, 在该目标基站接收到该源基站上报的接收状态信息 后, 在该目标基站能够向该用户设备 UE提供该多媒体广播多播业务时, 该方法还包括: 该目标基站更新其关于该用户设备接收多媒体广播多播 业务的业务信息, 即该业务信息可包括 MBSFN区域标识、 MBMS标识、 MBMS 会话标识、 TMGI和承载 MBMS的载波频率。
在本实施例中, 在该目标基站不能够向该用户设备提供该多媒体广 播多播业务时, 该方法还包括: 该目标基站以广播或单播方式向该用户 设备提供该多媒体广播多播业务 (MBMS )。 以下举例说明:
第一种: 在目标小区属于 MBSFN区域的预留小区时, 该目标基站以 广播或单播方式提供该多媒体广播多播业务。
第二种: 在目标小区不属于提供该多媒体广播多播业务的 MBSFN区 域时, 该目标小区加入提供该多媒体广播多播业务的 MBSFN 区域, 且该 目标基站以广播方式提供该多媒体广播多播业务。
第三种: 在目标小区不属于提供该多媒体广播多播业务的 MBSFN区 域时, 该目标基站可与 MBMS提供商之间建立一条链接, 采用单播方式为 该用户设备提供该多媒体广播多播业务。
第四种: 在目标小区没有足够的资源用于提供该多媒体广播多播业 务时, 该目标基站可与 MBMS提供商之间建立一条链接, 以单播方式为该 用户设备提供该多媒体广播多播业务。
由上述实施例可知, 在用户设备在小区间切换时, 该用户设备的源 服务基站通知目标基站该用户设备的 MBMS的接收状态信息; 并且该目 标基站在接收到该接收状态信息后, 可以广播或单播的方式为该用户设 备提供相应的 MBMS, 从而保证该用户设备的 MBMS的连续性。
实施例 2
图 2是本发明实施例 2的信息获取方法流程图。 如图 2所示, 该方 法包括:
用户设备在小区间切换时, 该用户设备的源基站向目标基站上报该 用户设备的多媒体广播多播业务的接收状态信息;
其中, 该接收状态信息包括指示该用户设备正在接收多媒体广播多 播业务的信息 (MBMS On ) , 或者包括指示该用户设备结束接收多媒体广 播多播业务的信息 (MBMS 0ff ) o
在本实施例中, 该源基站除了向目标基站上报包括指示该用户设备 正在接收或结束接收 MBMS的信息外, 还可上报 MBMS业务信息, 该业务 信息如实施例 1所述, 此处不再赘述。
在本实施例中, 可选地, 还可包括: 该源基站接收该目标基站返回 的接收确认消息。
其中, 在本实施例中, 该源基站可采用 UE MBMS 接收状态报告 (UE-MBMS Reception Report ) 消息向该目标基站上报该接收状态信息, 但不限于上述消息,还可采用其他任何一种消息来上报上述接收状态信息。
在本实施例中, 该方法还可包括: 该源基站获取该接收状态信息。 以下参照附图 3和 4对该源基站获取该接收状态信息的方法进行详细说明。
图 3是实施例 2中源基站获取接收状态信息的方法流程图。 如图 3 所示, 包括:
步骤 301,用户设备向该源基站上报接收状态信息, 以使该源基站获 取该接收状态信息; 其中, 在用户设备 UE正在接收一个新的 MBMS , 而且该用户设备 UE 之前没有向任何基站或该源基站反馈过任何关于该 MBMS的接收状态信息 时, 该用户设备 UE 可以通过 MBMS 接收状态报告 (正在接收) (MBMS Reception Status Report (MBMS on) ) 消息向基站发送该接收状态信息, 但不限于此消息, 还可采用任何一种消息; 其中, 在该用户设备在没向 任何基站报告过 MBMS接收状态时才向该源基站报告上述信息, 则可避免 用户设备 UE在每次切换到一个新基站时还报告该接收状态信息。
在用户设备 UE完成相应的 MBMS接收, 该用户设备 UE向该源基站发 送 MBMS接收状态报告(结束接收) (MBMS Reception Status Report (MBMS off) ) 消息, 但不限于此消息, 还可采用任何一种消息;
此外, 上述消息中还可以包含相应的 MBMS业务信息, 如 MBSFN区域 标识, MBMS业务标识、 MBMS会话标识、 TMGI和承载 MBMS的载波频率等 信息。
步骤 302,该源基站收到该用户设备上报的接收状态信息后,可向该 用户设备 UE发送确认消息;
其中, 步骤 302为可选步骤, 该确认消息可采用 MBMS接收状态确认 (MBMS Reception Status Confirm)消息, 但不限于此消息, 还可采用任 何一种消息。
由上述可知, 通过用户设备 UE发起的上报过程, 使得该源基站获得 该用户设备的 MBMS的接收状态信息。
图 4是实施例 2中源基站获取接收状态信息的方法流程图。 如图 4 所示, 包括:
步骤 401, 源基站向用户设备 UE发送指示该用户设备 UE上报 MBMS 的接收状态信息的请求消息;
其中, 基站可广播一条 MBMS接收状态请求(MBMS Reception Status
Request )消息,指示在其服务区域内的用户设备 UE向该源基站上报 MBMS 的接收状态信息。
步骤 402,在该用户设备接收到该源基站广播的请求消息后,该用户 设备 UE根据该请求消息上报接收状态信息, 以使该源基站获取该接收状 态信息; 其中, 该用户设备 UE可通过响应消息上报接收状态信息;
如果该用户设备 UE在接收相应的 MBMS ,且在此之前没有向该任何基 站或该源基站上报过与该 MBMS相关的响应消息, 则该用户设备 UE可以 通过 MBMS 接收状态响应 (正在接收) (MBMS Reception Status Response (MBMS on) ) 消息向该源基站指示其目前的接收状态; 其中, 该 响应消息发送的时间可以是刚开始接收这个广播业务时、或者准备切换时; 另外, 如果该用户设备 UE完成了相应的 MBMS接收, 该用户设备可 以通过发送一条 MBMS接收状态响应(结束接收) (MBMS Reception Status Response (MBMS off) ) 消息告知该源基站其相应的 MBMS接收结束, 该响 应消息可以在正好结束业务接收时发送;
上述两条消息还可包含相应的 MBMS业务信息, 如 MBSFN区域标识, MBMS业务标识、 MBMS会话标识、 TMGI和承载 MBMS的载波频率等信息。
由上述可知, 可通过网络侧的基站发起上报过程, 使得该源基站获 得该用户设备的 MBMS的接收状态信息。
由上述实施例可知, 在用户设备在小区间切换时, 该用户设备的源 服务基站通知目标基站该用户设备的 MBMS的接收状态信息; 并且该目 标基站在接收到该接收状态信息后, 可以广播或单播的方式为该用户设 备提供相应的 MBMS, 从而保证该用户设备的 MBMS的连续性。 其中, 该源基站可通过网络侧发起的上报过程、 或者通过用户设备发起的上报 过程来获得该用户设备的接收状态信息。
本发明实施例还提供了一种源基站和目标基站, 如下面的实施例 3 和实施例 4所述。 由于该目标基站和源基站解决问题的原理与上述基于 目标基站和源基站的信息获取方法相似, 因此该目标基站和源基站的实 施可以参见方法的实施, 重复之处不再赘述。
实施例 3
图 5是本发明实施例 3的目标基站的功能性结构示意图。 如图 5所 示, 该目标基站包括第一信息获取单元 501 ; 其中, 第一信息获取单元 501用于在用户设备在小区间切换时,接收源基站上报的用户设备的多媒 体广播多播业务的接收状态信息;
其中, 接收状态信息包括指示用户设备正在接收多媒体广播多播业 务的信息 (MBMS on ) , 或者包括指示用户设备结束接收多媒体广播多播 业务的信息(MBMS off)。
由上述实施例可知, 在用户设备在小区间切换时, 该用户设备的源 服务基站通知目标基站该用户设备的 MBMS的接收状态信息, 从而保证 该用户设备的 MBMS的连续性。
在本实施例中, 源基站还可将业务信息向该目标基站上报, 这样, 在第一信息获取单元 501 还可获取该业务信息, 其中, 业务信息的内容 如实施例 1中所述, 此处不再赘述。
如图 5所示, 该目标基站还可包括: 第一发送单元 502, 第一发送单 元 502用于在接收到接收状态信息后, 向源基站返回接收确认消息。
在上述实施例中, 该源基站发送接收状态信息采用的消息和该接收 确认消息采用的消息如实施例 1和 2所述, 此处不再赘述。
在本实施例中,如图 5所示,该目标基站还可包括信息更新单元 503, 信息更新单元 503用于在该目标基站获取该用户设备的接收状态信息后, 在该目标基站能够向用户设备提供多媒体广播多播业务时, 更新该用户 设备接收多媒体广播多播业务的业务信息。 其中, 业务信息如实施例 1 所述, 此处不再赘述。
如图 5所示, 该目标基站还包括业务提供单元 504, 业务提供单元 504用于在该目标基站获取该用户设备的接收状态信息后,在该目标基站 不能够向用户设备提供多媒体广播多播业务时, 以广播或单播方式向用 户设备提供多媒体广播多播业务。 其中, 业务提供单元 504采用广播或 单播方式提供 MBMS的情况如实施例 1中所述, 此处不再赘述。
由上述实施例可知, 在用户设备在小区间切换时, 该用户设备的源 服务基站通知目标基站该用户设备的 MBMS的接收状态信息, 从而保证 该用户设备的 MBMS的连续性; 另外, 在该目标基站接收到该用户设备 的 MBMS的接收状态信息后, 还可根据其是否能够提供该 MBMS的情 况进行相应的操作, 为该用户设备提供相应的 MBMS服务。
实施例 4
图 6是本发明实施例 4的源基站的构成示意图。 如图 6所示, 该源 基站包括信息发送单元 601,信息发送单元 601用于在用户设备在小区间 切换时, 向目标基站上报用户的多媒体广播多播业务的接收状态信息; 其中, 接收状态信息包括指示用户设备正在接收多媒体广播多播业 务的信息, 或者包括指示用户设备结束接收多媒体广播多播业务的信息。
由上述实施例可知, 在用户设备在小区间切换时, 该用户设备的源 服务基站通知目标基站该用户设备的 MBMS的接收状态信息, 从而保证 该用户设备的 MBMS的连续性。
在本实施例中, 在源基站向目标基站上报包括指示该用户设备正在 接收或结束接收 MBMS的信息时, 还可上报 MBMS业务信息, 该业务信息 如实施例 1所述, 此处不再赘述。
在源基站向目标基站上报该接收状态信息之前, 该源基站可通过网 络侧发起的上报过程或用户设备发起的上报过程获得该接收状态信息。 这样, 如图 6所示, 源基站还包括第二信息获取单元 602, 第二信息获取 单元 602用于获取接收状态信息。
当通过用户设备发起的上报过程获得该接收状态信息时, 如图 7所 示, 第二信息获取单元 602可包括第一信息接收单元 701 ; 其中, 第一信 息接收单元 701 用于接收用户设备上报的接收状态信息, 以获取接收状 态信息。
在这种情况下, 该源基站还可包括确认消息发送单元 702,用于在接 收到该用户设备发送的接收状态信息后, 向该用户设备返回接收确认消 息。 其具体的过程如实施例 2 所述, 此处不再赘述。 其中, 确认消息发 送单元 702可选。
当通过网络侧发起的上报过程获得该接收状态信息时, 如图 8所示, 第二信息获取单元 602包括请求消息发送单元 801和第二信息接收单元 802; 其中,
请求消息发送单元 801用于向用户设备发送指示用户设备上报接收 状态信息的请求消息; 第二信息接收单元 802 用于接收用户设备根据请 求消息发送单元 801 发送的请求消息上报的接收状态信息, 以获取接收 状态信息。
由上述实施例可知, 在用户设备在小区间切换时, 该用户设备的源 服务基站通知目标基站该用户设备的 MBMS的接收状态信息, 从而保证 该用户设备的 MBMS的连续性; 其中, 该源基站可通过网络侧发起的上 报过程、 或者通过用户设备发起的上报过程来获得该用户设备的接收状 态信息。
以下结合附图 9对源基站和目标基站之间交互用户设备的 MBMS接 收状态信息的过程进行说明。

其中, 可通过 UE-MBMS Reception Report消息承载上述接收状态信 息; 该接收状态信息除了包括指示该用户设备正在接收或结束接收 MBMS的信息外, 还可包括 MBMS的业务信息, 如上述实施例所述, 此 处不再赘述。
步骤 903,该目标基站接收到该接收状态信息后, 向该源基站返回确 认消息;
其中, 可通过 UE-MBMS Reception Confirm消息向该源基站返回该 确认信息, 并且该步骤可选。
步骤 904,在该目标基站接收到该报告之后,在目标基站能够向移动 中的该用户设备 UE提供相应的 MBMS时, 该目标基站更新该用户设备 接收 MBMS的业务信息。

4、 根据权利要求 1所述的方法, 其中, 在所述目标基站能够向所述 用户设备提供所述多媒体广播多播业务时, 所述方法还包括: 所述目标 基站更新所述用户设备接收多媒体广播多播业务的业务信息。
5、 根据权利要求 1所述的方法, 其中, 在所述目标基站不能够向所 述用户设备提供所述多媒体广播多播业务时, 所述方法还包括:
所述目标基站以广播或单播方式向所述用户设备提供所述多媒体广 播多播业务。
6、 根据权利要求 5所述的方法, 其中, 在目标小区属于组播广播单 频网区域的预留小区时, 所述目标基站以广播或单播方式提供所述多媒 体广播多播业务;
在目标小区不属于提供所述多媒体广播多播业务的组播广播单频网 区域时, 所述目标小区加入提供所述多媒体广播多播业务的组播广播单 频网区域, 且所述目标基站以广播方式提供所述多媒体广播多播业务; 在目标小区不属于提供所述多媒体广播多播业务的组播广播单频网 区域时, 所述目标基站以单播方式提供所述多媒体广播多播业务; 在目标小区没有足够的资源用于提供所述多媒体广播多播业务时, 所述目标基站以单播方式提供所述多媒体广播多播业务。
7、 一种信息获取方法, 所述方法包括:
用户设备在小区间切换时, 所述用户设备的源基站向目标基站上报 所述用户的多媒体广播多播业务的接收状态信息;
其中, 所述接收状态信息包括指示所述用户设备正在接收多媒体广 播多播业务的信息, 或者包括指示所述用户设备结束接收多媒体广播多 播业务的信息。
8、 根据权利要求 7所述的方法, 其中, 所述接收状态信息还包括多 媒体广播多播业务的业务信息, 所述业务信息包括以下信息中的一个或 组播广播单频网区域标识、 多媒体广播多播业务标识、 多媒体广播 多播业务会话标识、 临时移动组标识和承载多媒体广播多播业务的载波 频率。
9、 根据权利要求 7所述的方法, 其中, 所述方法还包括: 所述源基 站获取所述接收状态信息。
10、 根据权利要求 9所述的方法, 其中, 所述源基站获取所述接收 状态信息, 包括:
所述源基站接收所述用户设备上报的所述接收状态信息, 以获取所 述接收状态信息。
11、 根据权利要求 9所述的方法, 其中, 所述源基站获取所述接收 状态信息, 包括:
所述源基站向所述用户设备发送指示所述用户设备上报所述接收状 态信息的请求消息;
所述源基站接收所述用户设备根据所述请求消息上报的所述接收状 态信息, 以获取所述接收状态信息。
12、 一种目标基站, 所述目标基站包括:
第一信息获取单元, 所述第一信息获取单元用于在用户设备在小区 间切换时, 接收源基站上报的所述用户设备的多媒体广播多播业务的接 收状态信息; 其中, 所述接收状态信息包括指示所述用户设备正在接收多媒体广 播多播业务的信息, 或者包括指示所述用户设备结束接收多媒体广播多 播业务的信息。
13、根据权利要求 12所述的目标基站,其中,所述目标基站还包括: 第一发送单元, 所述第一发送单元用于在接收到所述接收状态信息后, 向所述源基站返回接收确认消息。
14、根据权利要求 12所述的目标基站,其中,所述目标基站还包括: 信息更新单元, 所述信息更新单元用于在所述目标基站能够向所述用户 设备提供所述多媒体广播多播业务时, 更新所述用户设备接收多媒体广 播多播业务的业务信息。
15、 根据权利要求 12所述的目标基站, 其中, 所述目标基站还包括 业务提供单元, 所述业务提供单元用于在所述目标基站不能够向所述用 户设备提供所述多媒体广播多播业务时, 以广播或单播方式向所述用户 设备提供所述多媒体广播多播业务。
16、 一种源基站, 所述源基站包括:
信息发送单元,所述信息发送单元用于在用户设备在小区间切换时, 向目标基站上报所述用户的多媒体广播多播业务的接收状态信息;
其中, 所述接收状态信息包括指示所述用户设备正在接收多媒体广 播多播业务的信息, 或者包括指示所述用户设备结束接收多媒体广播多 播业务的信息。
17、 根据权利要求 16所述的源基站, 其中, 所述源基站还包括第二 信息获取单元, 所述第二信息获取单元用于获取所述接收状态信息。
18、 根据权利要求 17所述的源基站, 其中, 所述第二信息获取单元 具体用于接收所述用户设备上报的所述接收状态信息, 以获取所述接收 状态信息。
19、 根据权利要求 17所述的源基站, 其中, 所述第二信息获取单元 包括:
请求消息发送单元, 所述指示消息发送单元用于向所述用户设备发 送指示所述用户设备上报所述接收状态信息的请求消息;
信息接收单元, 所述信息接收单元用于接收所述用户设备根据所述 指示消息发送单元发送的请求消息上报的所述接收状态信息, 以获取所 述接收状态信息。
20、 一种计算机可读程序, 其中当在目标基站中执行所述程序时, 所述程序使得计算机在所述目标基站中执行如权利要求 1至 6的任一项 权利要求所述的信息获取方法。
21、 一种存储有计算机可读程序的存储介质, 其中所述计算机可读 程序使得计算机在目标基站中执行如权利要求 1至 6的任一项权利要求 所述信息获取方法。
22、 一种计算机可读程序, 其中当在源基站中执行所述程序时, 所 述程序使得计算机在所述源基站中执行如权利要求 7至 11的任一项权利 要求所述的信息获取方法。
23、 一种存储有计算机可读程序的存储介质, 其中所述计算机可读 程序使得计算机在源基站中执行如权利要求 7至 11的任一项权利要求所 述信息获取方法。
