Abstract

M2M(machine-to-machine) 통신에서 페이징 메시지 모니터링 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. M2M 기기가 기지국으로부터 아이들 모드를 개시하는 페이징 설정을 수신한다. 상기 페이징 설정은 페이징 사이클, 제1 페이징 오프셋 및 제2 페이징 오프셋을 지시하는 정보를 포함한다. 상기 아이들 모드에서 상기 M2M 기기가 상기 페이징 사이클의 상기 제1 페이징 오프셋에서 페이징 메시지의 전송을 모니터링한다. 상기 제1 페이징 오프셋에서 상기 페이징 메시지가 수신되지 않으면, 상기 아이들 모드에서 상기 M2M 기기가 상기 페이징 사이클의 상기 제2 페이징 오프셋에서 상기 페이징 메시지의 전송을 모니터링한다.
