Abstract

The present invention relates to a haptic actuator, and more particularly, to a haptic actuator in which vibration occurs when a user touches a touchpad so as to enable the user to feel the touch. The haptic actuator includes: a base; a vibrating part mounted on the upper portion of the base so as to be vertically movable; a piezoelectric element coupled to the vibrating part; and a panel part mounted on the upper portion of the vibrating part. The vibrating part includes: a coupling part coupled to the panel part; a first supporting part, one end of which is coupled to the coupling part and the other end of which horizontally protrudes from the coupling part; and a second supporting part protruding from the coupling part in the horizontal direction parallel to that of the first supporting part, wherein one end of the second supporting part is bent downward and fixedly coupled to the base. The piezoelectric element is mounted onto the first supporting part so as to vertically bend the first supporting part when power is applied, thereby causing the vertical vibration of the panel part.
