Description

Electric vacuum cleaner
The present invention relates to a cyclone type electric vacuum cleaner.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there is known an electric vacuum cleaner in which a cyclone dust collector is detachably attached to the front and an electric blower is housed behind (Patent Document 1).
The dust collecting device of Patent Document 1 includes a substantially cylindrical dust collecting case, a lid that closes the upper part of the dust collecting case, and an exhaust pipe that is formed to hang down from the lid into the dust collecting case. An intake port is formed in the upper part of the side surface of the dust collection case, and a discharge port is formed in the lid.
A cyclone space that separates dust by swirling the air sucked from the intake port is formed in the upper space facing the intake port between the dust collection case and the exhaust pipe, and the cyclone space is separated in the lower space. A dust collection space for guiding and accumulating dust through the gap is formed. The exhaust tube is formed with a large number of minute ventilation holes in the cyclone space position, and air separated from the dust in the cyclone space is sucked into the inside through the ventilation holes and passes through the filter arranged in the lid. Then, it is sucked into the electric blower from the discharge port.
As described above, the dust collection device of Patent Document 1 requires a cyclone space and a dust collection space. However, since dust accumulates in the dust collection space from below to above, sufficient accumulation of dust is possible. The dust collector is formed in a vertically long shape so that the amount can be secured. Since the cyclone type vacuum cleaner of patent document 1 has accommodated the vertical dust collector in the perpendicular direction, a vacuum cleaner main body also becomes a dimension up and down, and becomes a vertically long and unstable shape. In addition, the hose to which the floor suction tool or the like is connected communicates with an air inlet formed in the upper part of the dust collecting case of the dust collector, and thus is configured to be connected to an upper position of the cleaner body. For this reason, there is a problem that when the hose is pulled along with the cleaning operation, the cleaner body is likely to fall down in combination with the unstableness of the cleaner body.
In order to solve the above problem, the dust collector is disposed obliquely with respect to the cleaner body, and the hose is connected to the front lower part of the cleaner body, so that the vertical direction of the cleaner body An electric vacuum cleaner that suppresses the increase in dimensions and prevents the vacuum cleaner body from overturning is known (Patent Document 2).

In the electric vacuum cleaner of Patent Document 2, in order to reduce the suction resistance of the electric blower and improve the dust suction efficiency, the electric blower is arranged with the intake port facing upward, and the cord reel is located on the side of the electric blower. It is installed side by side. Since the electric vacuum cleaner of Patent Document 2 has the electric blower and the cord reel arranged side by side in the lateral direction, there is a problem that the width dimension of the rear portion of the cleaner main body becomes large. Moreover, the vacuum cleaner of patent document 2 has an exhaust port formed in the upper rear part of the vacuum cleaner body, and it is necessary to set a wide area of the exhaust air passage so that the exhaust from the electric blower is efficiently guided to the exhaust port. In combination with the electric blower and the cord reel being arranged in parallel, there has been a problem that the width of the rear portion of the main body of the vacuum cleaner becomes large as a whole.
In order to solve such a problem, an object of the present invention is to provide a cyclone type vacuum cleaner that can improve dust suction efficiency and can reduce the size of the vacuum cleaner body.

Reference numeral 38 denotes a handle provided on a side surface of the dust collection case 31 located above the dust collector 30 in a state where the dust collector 30 is attached to the cleaner body 1. Reference numeral 39 denotes a cylinder 32 provided on the bottom surface of the dust collection case 31. It is a rotation mechanism that rotates.
Reference numeral 40 denotes an air inlet provided on the side surface of the dust collection case 31, which is eccentric at the front lower position and with respect to the center of the dust collection case 31 when the dust collector 30 is attached to the cleaner body 1. It is formed at the above-mentioned position and is connected to the connection port of the cleaner body 1 in an airtight manner by packing (not shown) provided at the periphery. Further, the connection port is provided with a valve body (not shown) that is always biased in the direction of closing the intake port 40 and opens only inside the dust collection case 31, and dust and the like in the dust collection case 31 are sucked into the connection port. Leaking from the mouth 40 is prevented.
The lid 35 is formed with a discharge port 41 at a substantially central portion. The discharge port 41 communicates with the exhaust tube 34 of the main filter 33 and the dust collector 30 is attached to the cleaner body 1. In this state, the discharge port 41 communicates with the suction port 6 of the cleaner body 1 in an airtight manner through a packing (not shown). The packing provided at the discharge port 41 contacts the exhaust cylinder 34 of the main filter 33, and air that does not pass through the nonwoven fabric of the main filter 33 flows toward the electric blower 13 from between the exhaust cylinder 34 and the lid 35. It is designed to prevent this.
Thus, when a flexible hose is connected to the suction port 4 and the electric blower 13 is driven, the dust sucked from the floor suction tool is removed from the suction port 4 via the extension pipe and the flexible hose. 7, enters the dust collection case 31 through the connection port and the intake port 40, flows to the lid body 35 while turning along the inner wall of the dust collection case 31, and relatively large dust is compressed and accumulated from the lid body 35 side. I will do it.
Fine dust passes through the pre-filter 36 together with air, but is filtered by the nonwoven fabric of the main filter 33, and only clean air passes through the main filter 33 and passes through the suction fan 19 and the electric blower 13. The air exhausted from the electric blower 13 is blown toward the cord reel 21 through the exhaust pipe 16 and the small hole 11 to cool the power cord of the cord reel 21. Then, it passes through the exhaust chamber 23 located in the both sides of the accommodating part 12 through the ventilation path between the partition plate 10 and the cleaner main body 1, and is discharged outside from the discharge port 25 of the cleaner main body 1 side surface. . Air discharged from the discharge port 25 is discharged obliquely upward from an exhaust port 29 formed in the traveling wheel 26 facing the discharge port 25.
In the present embodiment, by arranging the electric blower 13 and the cord reel 21 vertically, the lateral width of the rear portion of the vacuum cleaner main body 1 can be reduced as compared with the configuration in which the cord reel is disposed on the side of the electric blower. Can do.
Further, by disposing the electric blower 13 upward, the intake port of the electric blower 13 can be opposed to the discharge port 41 facing rearward in the storage state of the dust collector 30, and the intake port of the electric blower 13 is discharged. By supporting substantially horizontally toward the outlet 41, the air in the dust collector 30 can be smoothly led from the outlet 41 to the inlet of the electric blower 13, reducing the suction resistance and improving the dust suction efficiency. be able to.
Further, the exhaust from the electric blower 13 is blown through the exhaust pipe 16 and the small hole 11 toward the cord reel 21 disposed at the lower position of the electric blower 13. Can be cooled.
In addition, the exhaust that has cooled the cord reel 21 is guided to the exhaust chambers 23 located on both sides of the storage unit 12 through the ventilation path between the partition plate 10 and the inner surface of the cleaner body 1, and the exhaust flows smoothly. The exhaust can be efficiently led to the exhaust port 29. Further, the discharge port 25 and the exhaust port 29 are formed upward, and by providing the shielding wall 28, the exhaust can be exhausted upward, and dust is prevented from being rolled up by the exhaust. Can do.
Further, since the exhaust after cooling the cord reel 21 is configured to be introduced into the wide exhaust chamber 23 through a relatively narrow air passage between the partition plate 10 and the inner surface of the cleaner body 1, it is narrow. By flowing from the ventilation path to the exhaust chamber 23, the flow rate of the exhaust is reduced, and noise associated with the exhaust can be reduced.
Furthermore, the cleaner main body 1 can be stably driven by tilting and supporting the running wheels 26 so that the running wheels 26 spread downward. Further, coupled with the fact that the suction port 4 to which the hose is connected is formed at the bottom of the cleaner body 1, the stability of the cleaner body 1 can be improved when the hose is pulled with the cleaning operation. It is possible to prevent the vacuum cleaner body 1 from falling.
