Abstract

Cette invention concerne un coussin utilisé pour l'application d'acupression sur des points du corps adaptés pour l'acuponcture, ledit coussin utilisé pour l'application d'acupression sur des points du corps adaptés pour l'acuponcture comprenant : un corps principal contenant un compartiment et plusieurs premiers orifices situés sur la partie centrale de la surface de ce dernier et correspondant aux points d'acuponcture de la zone occipitale ; une première plaque d'acupression sur laquelle plusieurs premières protubérances d'acupression traversant les premiers orifices sont situées à une distance prédéfinie les unes par rapport aux autres, ladite première plaque d'acupression étant placée dans le compartiment du corps principal ; un premier système de levage qui soulève la première plaque d'acupression pour que les premières protubérances d'acupression soient accessibles par les premiers orifices ; une unité de commande qui contrôle le premier système de levage ; et une unité d'alimentation électrique qui alimente l'unité de commande. Le premier système de levage comporte un dispositif gonflable qui se gonfle de sorte que la première plaque d'acupression se soulève quand de l'air généré par une pompe à air, dont le fonctionnement est commandé par l'unité de commande, est injecté, et qui se dégonfle de sorte que la première plaque d'acupression s'abaisse quand l'air est évacué. Selon la présente invention, étant donné qu'au moins une plaque d'acupression, destinée à appliquer une acupression sur les points de la tête adaptés pour l'acuponcture, se soulève au moyen du dispositif gonflable, la génération de bruit peut être réduite à un minimum lors de l'application de l'acupression sur les points du corps adaptés pour l'acuponcture, ce qui permet ainsi d'améliorer la circulation sanguine et de diminuer la fatigue du patient.
