  • the disclosed method allows for the monitoring of the temperature profile of the chiller together with the refrigerant composition. More advantageously, this method allows processing of natural gas with varying compositions and heat contents while producing a liquefied natural gas which meets the requirements as predetermined.
  • the disclosed method is useful for maintaining the refrigerant composition within specific ranges while taking into account the temperature profile in the chiller. Even more advantageously, the disclosed method minimizes the inventory loss of the refrigerant due to draining and makeup of the refrigerant at the same time.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de commande de la température d'un gaz naturel liquéfié (LNG) produit à partir d'un refroidisseur dans un procédé de liquéfaction. Ledit procédé consiste à faire varier la composition d'un flux de réfrigérant en communication thermique avec le gaz naturel subissant une liquéfaction dans le refroidisseur afin de commander la température du LNG produit à partir de refroidisseur.
